The restaurant craft each dish as a piece of art. Personally I like the chicken soup with tofu(carefully crafted as a flower). My second favorite is their sweet Bao.

My colleagues booked us a private dining room here for a business dinner. Wow, what a location. We had a set menu of some wonderful foods, a lot of them new to my western palette. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and although not all of the dishes were to my taste, that was probably me more than any fault with the... More

A very elegant restaurant with restaurant searing as well as dedicated dining rooms for groups which is very well appointed. The 7 course banquet included prawns wrapped in a nest of hair fine flour based noodles and fried, abalone, shark fin soup, and Peking duck with a host of accompaniments such as spiced fried tofu, Chicken intestines( takes getting used... We visited as a group at a busy weekend and had both a wonderfully delicious meal as well as a good atmosphere. The range of food was brilliant and the five ways duck was lovely.

This restaurant is right next to the National Palace Museum and even has a carved cabbage dish to resemble the famous artifact in the museum. The crab and corn soup was the die for.

I went here after a trip to the Taipei National Palace Museum. What a great stop! The food was fresh and atmosphere was authentic. I was with my father's boss, and she was impressed. I will go back if the opportunity allows.

Make no mistake, the food at Silks House is some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten! The Kung Pao chicken and Szechuan casserole were exceptional. However, the service and atmosphere were cold and clinical to the extreme. Maybe that's what Taiwanese expect, but we found it antiseptic and a turn off. The staff don't seem to know how... More

I had several business meals here while staying in Taipei. Each time, the food was excellent and the service even better. The Taiwanese style duck, very similar to Beijing, was outstanding, as was the pork belly and tripe. Best yet, they have people who know wine as well as have an excellent selection. I will be back!
