Who knew that in Bangkok Thailand you could find a Japanese restaurant worthy of the finest Japanese food found in Japan itself . Almost everything that they serve there was perfect, except for the Wagu beef which was a little chewy. Everything else was delicious, can not say enough about the quality of the food and service, and at a... More

I don't care it's Bangkok here but Kisso restaurant where it's located junction of BTS and MRT is one of the places you must visit during staying in Bangkok!! Atmosphere is very Japanese and, the staff pays attentions and take care of guests a lot. Of course the food was beautiful as well. I hope I come back soon!!

Came here on a week night and it was as if we had booked the entire resto for ourselves. The quality of the food was excellent matched with great service. Elegant understated ambiance. Also got a discount with SPG card. Will definitely come back again.

Dining with a toddler here was a breeze. We had the special set menu and was blown away by the great food - I could not eat the sashimi myself, but was told by my companions who ate them that it was superbly fresh. Not normally a tempura fan, I was surprised by how good the tempura was. This restaurant... More

We tried a range of dishes from the Sashimi (all fresh and tasty), the Wagyu (tender) and the Foie+Eel combo which works well. The service was friendly and helpful, the food excellent. It is good to see that the great standards from my first visit have been maintained.

Basically I can have salted grilled dishes and sashimi (bring my own sauce) at any Japanese restaurant. Since Kisso is said one top premium Japanese restaurant in Bangkok, though I am a celiac and Japanese food is dangerous due to full of gluten, I still wanted to try, and the restaurant accepted my reservation with gluten-free restriction :) The sashimi... The restaurant is located in the west in hotel where we were staying. It was advertised as the best Japanese restaurant in Bangkok so we decided to give it a try. It was only average in our opinion. For the price point we could have gotten much better quality and choices of varieties. Food was only so so. Service staff... More

Kisso is one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. I recommend trying the California Maki, Spicy Salmon Rolls and Japanese Green Tea Ice Cream.

Went to Kisso for a dinner. Didn't know what to expect but a friend in Bangkok who owns a Japanese restaurant recommended it, so we decided to give it a try. Didn't make a booking but we managed to get a table. Very happy to see both tourist and local Japanese having dinner there. We tried their prawn tempura (excellent),... More

The eatery serves dishes full of high quality ingredients. You won't find their sushi rolls full of rice. Instead their rolls are full of fish! Their staff are very professional and service minded. Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
