First impression was a lovely outdoor setting, then a huge confusing menu, but after a few flips here and there, made order which was without flaw. Appetizers, salads, mains and desserts all spot on and very enjoyable.

Really nice spot in Bangkok if you want to experience authentic Thai food but not keen on the street kitchens. The food was great and good value for money. The restaurant was cozy and clean. The staff was super nice and service minded. We highly recommend Mango Tree.

The service was extremely poor and unhelpful . We had a booking but waited two hours for our mains and the meal was very expensive for Bangkok. Food was reasonable certainly no wow factor, but we had had better elsewhere for a lot cheaper. When we complained about the wait we were totally ignored by staff.

Location is nice with music background. We ordered Tom Yum, thai spring rolls, grilled sea bass, green curry with beef and stir fried morning glory. Everything was delicious, except the soup that was a little taste less. Anyway it was a good experience. They have vegetarian menu too. Suggested.

We enjoyed our night out @ Mango Tree BKK very much. The food was heaven. Only one complaint about the service. The third wine we asked for, was in stock. Not cheap, but we wanted to drink wine. When the waiter arrived, I noticed that the wine he was serving, wasn't from the same year (2012) on the menu. This... More

We visited the Mango tree, its a small chain but nice location and food is very good! Also most evenings there is some live music. Ordered the pomolo salad and yellow crab curry....both excellent and very fresh. They can serve the crab salad without shells, easy :), feeds 3. Many foreigners there. Good...suggest to try it.

Mango Tree is a chain that is right across Asia. It's one of the famous go-to places in Japan, so of course this branch was a magnet for Japanese tour groups. We sat in the courtyard - the front of the old house that has been converted into this restaurant. Foreigner-friendly menu, indifferent staff, standard cuisine, slightly on the high-priced... More

This is not the first time I had dinner here. Place is nice, location is good, food is delicious. I come here every time when I visited Bangkok!

Visited the Mango Tree tonight and had great first impressions from the layout. Spoilt for choice from the menu. Seated quickly and food arrived very fast (but separate to each other) However....I am left fuming at the rude service I have just received by one waitress, it takes a hell of a lot for me to lose my patience. We... More

I've been traveling to Bangkok since 1999 and it's our "go to" restaurant every time we return. Located in a charming bungalow on a side street, the food is amazing and inexpensive. Be careful during mango season, because on occasion, we have had them fall out of the tree and onto our table. The staff however, is very accommodating and... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
