Finally made my way to the restaurant. As there were only 2 of us, we had the oyster omelette, yellow curry crab, steamed sea bass with lemon and garlic and a bottle of singha. Total bill was 1040 baht. The seafood is really good as it was very fresh. The oysters were plump and juicy. The solo crab was quite small, but meaty. The seabass was meaty too albeit a little spicy for me. Overall, it was a good meal. The place is nothing to rave about. There is an aircon section and outdoor section. So please queue at the section you prefer. I sat at the aircon section. It was very tight, and spread over I think 3 floors. Staff do not speak much English but are attentive and helpful. Good quality food worth a try.

Always a good visit to chinatown where the food is great and so is the crowd. Huge grilled prawns with their spicy sour sauce. Their tom yam goon was a little on the sweet side, but than again i’m not thai and maybe that was authentic! Broiled squid and the tangy spicy broth was very nice too. Recommend to bring wet wipes as its not the cleanest place, use it to wipe the table before u lean or put your hands on. NOT recommended for young kids.

I was drawn to this eatery as it was packed with people; had to wait but it was systemic. The customers were a mix of locals and tourists, which is a good sign that this is not a ‘tourist trap’ Good selection of seafood. Steamed fish, ouster egg, crab with noodles and grilled river prawn Overall, tasty and good portion at a reasonable price. If you want to experience no frills Thai Seafood in a very local setting, this is the place to be.

We ordered 6 dishes including a shrimp fried rice. My colleague inquired about the fried rice for 3 times after our 4 main meals has been served. Instead of been apologetic, we were told that we had to wait otherwise we can cancel the fried rice order in a very rude and unfriendly manner.

Grilled Prawns large was excellent as other reviewers say. Stir-fried Squid with Yellow Curry was also excellent but some may say a little bit sweet, less sugar should be added. I love Stir-fried Morning Glory very much even though it was spicy and the sprouts were not cut short enough. I wondered many customers were eating at the tables outside, but chose to eat inside the cool restaurant to find that a few Chinese travelers were eating and coughing.

Came here several times many years before and was good each time. Nit sure what happened but the quality of the food went down drastically! The clams and squids weren't fresh, the steamed fish in lemon soup is tasteless. We didn't finish our food and left early due to poor quality. Having weird stomach after an hour

Tho the street corner level seems chaotic (and is..lol), there’s indoor seating. The food is cooked fresh and is one of the better seafood stalls in Chinatown. Would recommend. Eating here transport you back a few years when food was important. Ambiance...hahaha.

I've been here a couple of times before and the food was good, even if the experience was quite rushed and noisy. This time the food was really poor. A lobster (1500 Baht) cooked so long and hard it was like a piece of rubber stuck to its shell. Dreadful. The batter on the deep-fired prawns was thicker than the prawns. The noodles lacked flavour. The morning glory was tough and stringy. The staff had a loud argument and overall it felt like an unhappy sweatshop with no love going in to the food.

I had seen this restaurant in a food bloggers video and thought it would be worth giving it a try. We managed to get a table fairly quickly each time even though they were super busy. The seafood was incredible. Crab omelette was delicious but the river prawns in tamarind sauce were incredible. 100% would come back here again.

Glad to have brought a friend to visit T&K Seafood. A restaurant she’d probably won’t dine in with street seating. We were allocated a table on the forth level. Clean washroom, air conditioned, food were served promptly. Food and service is as good as before. Ordered a vermicelli crab, fried fish with fish sauce, omelette and vegetable. Visited on a Friday night. Hanging our hunger walking along the Yaowarat street food towards T&K seafood. Must try: anything with vermicelli in steel pot.

Tasty - restaurant prices for street food BUT WARNING !!! They overcharge tourists - check the bill against the menu price - never brought rice but charged and also charged 200 for something on menu for 150. Tourists next to us had same issue. 90 b extra feet n our case.

We were recommended to go here by quite a few people and food is honestly amazing. However it really was soured very quickly by 1 employee who thought it was funny not to understand us when we were asking for water. Such a rude, arrogant and loud man! Tried to embarrass us but looked like an absolute fool in front of the other customers who sat there shaking their heads in disbelief with such disgusting behaviour! It doesn’t matter how good the food or vibe is when you experience this kind of arrogance. So if you like to be belittled come here!!

After the great reviews me and 2 other friends came here. Do not go if you are a tourist. They got 2 of our meals incorrect and after politely explaining to them that I was vegetarian they rudely snatched the plate off us and shouted at us saying it was correct. Later on a lady from the door stormed upstairs and began literally shouting at us mid meal. Really ruined our experience in China town and we were very disappointed. Food was average at best.

We were actually looking for a particular street food restaurant in Chinatown but couldn’t locate it. We were in a busy location just off Yarrowat Rd and decided to go for somewhere busy. Ended up here and I’m glad we did. People queuing to get in all night. Real hustle bustle place. Most importantly the food is superb, especially the Tom Yum. It’s big but beautiful. We ordered far too much food and loads of Singha beer. It was ridiculously cheap. Like £20 for the two of us. Great entertainment too. Started absolutely pouring down. Staff just ran out with a roll of cellophane and held it over us. Very very funny night. Great staff.

Pros Great selection of fresh seafood. Prepared to order on the spot. Unique experience of eating on the side of the road. Cons If you don’t like crowds and sitting arm and arm at table with other customers I suggest not going. If you are highly concerned about cleanliness, I suggest passing on this one. (I have been eating street food in Thailand for years and never gotten sick, but I recognize everyone’s experience is different.

Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
