What this restaurant lacks in ambience it makes up for in the quality of the food. Some of the best Chinese food I've had in Bangkok. Particularly love the eggplant dish - delicious! Quite cheap too.

Dalian serves very delicious Chinese dishes, like the ones served in mainland China. The place is very simple and nothing fancy. Many of the servers are from the mainland too. The price is very reasonable too. If you are looking for some dumplings, noodles and stir fried dishes, this is the place.

This restaurant is located at Ekamai Soi 63 catty corner from Bourbon Street. It offers an extensive menu that does NOT include Peking Duck or other Chinese banquet foods. It's the kind of food you might expect being invited to someone's house for a meal. The food arrives quickly at the table fresh and piping hot. My favorite is the... More

If you've lived in China and are expecting exactly the same food, then don't go there. But, if you are looking for flavours that are more traditionally Chinese, then this might be your fix. Dumplings are ok - go for the potstickers as the boiled dumplings are a little soggy since they are done from frozen. The steamed fish is... More

a chinese fast food! gear towards healthy category unlike those traditional Chinese some might be familiar with. value for money. each dish costs ~80-150 up to 2-300 Baht depending on whether it's seafood or red beef. all the staff are probably from China or something just noticing from the way they take orders. worth a visit!

One of the tastiest Chinese food in Sukhumvit area. Da Lian 大连 , not that greasy like traditional Chinese food. Right portion as well, so we can try quite a variety of their dishes. The dough here is daily baked just like their noodles. Every dish has its own unique taste. The price ranges from 60 baht - 3xx baht.... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
