Absolutely amazing. The food is so good. Portions are more than generous. The music is great. The environment is cool. What else is left?!

The atmosphere is warm, inviting and Burmese run. Worth going for the atmosphere and the extensive menu. I've been back several times with various friends and family visiting us in Bangkok. Only drawback - I recommend the toilet is kept in better state of cleanliness - at all times.

Cosy atmosphere in the morning. The ginger kombucha was nice and the tempeh too. Great sauce. The Tom Ka soup was rather boring in taste, very moderate. Could have added more lemongrass.

A different experience. Found in the by lanes, they have a huge variety in their menu. I loved the hummus and pita. Other items I ordered was the veggie burger (bread was too hard for my liking) and tom yum soup with noodles (this was decent). They have free wifi but during peak hours, they expect you to order for... More

This restaurant is a bit hidden from the main-streets and we had to walk a few blocks to find it. But the food was delicious (we orderns falafel) and we just had to wait for it like 10 minutes. They had a range of different vegan/vegetarian dishes - but no Coke/Sprite/fanta. But thats really not an issue When they have... More

I had dinner here on my recent trip to Bangkok and had a very disappointing experience. If you look through my review history you will see that I rarely give less than a very good review as before I go anywhere I put effort into independently researching the cafe/restaurant/bar almost guaranteeing a good time (most of the time) but I... Vegan family of four (two young lifelong vegan kids) enjoyed eating here most days. Vegan menu is extensive and the food was always delicious. I enjoyed the menu with the notes about not drinking Lipton tea as it's "Low quality black tea scraps in a cloth bag. For advertising victims." and Coke and Sprite getting a pasting too ("A deceptively... More

Ethos is in an alley just past the east end of famous "Ko Sarn Road" and should be visited by veg. eaters and 'non' alike. It's affordable, comfortable, their servers/owners and warm & welcoming, and the food is excellent. A mix of dishes - mostly Thai - with some great finds (e.g. tempeh, Panang curry) for the truly vegetarian traveller.... More

Literally ate breakfast lunch and dinner here- so good for vegans! Everything so tasty and they don't use msg which is awesome. We have honestly eaten our way though the menu and not a bad thing to say- all the dishes are great! The ambience/ vibe is really nice also, cosy with dim lights and cushions on the floor. Definitely... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
