The fish and chips are quite good as long as you select the right fish. Don’t order the cheapest, John Dory, as this is just another name for Pangasius, which I would never eat. Chips were thick, home made. The owner, Sam, is very talkative. This place is on the roof of his house, not far from Chong Nonsi BTS... More

I had the Grouper fish and chips. Food was excellent and Sam was a great host, very friendly. I will definitely be going back next time I am in Bangkok.

I spotted this restaurant one evening, it's on the 2nd floor, and was beckoned up by the owner. I had an enjoyable dinner of fish & chips accompanied by Singha beer.

Fresh fish, flavourful crust. Chips are more like steak fries with skin - which is also great. Very attentive staff. Homey atmosphere atypical of Silom restaurants.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, the food and chatting with Sam so much I visited twice. Food was very good in a very nice atmosphere on the roof of a home. It can be a bit difficult to find but once you find it you will enjoy a casual/relaxing atmosphere with very friendly staff. I would recommend this restaurant to... More

Not far from bustling Silom Road, this is a good find even for a local like me. We like the location that it is a bit tucked away. The restaurant is on top of Sam's house. However, it doesn't provide you any view since it is surrounded with green, combine with the small size of the restaurant this makes you... More

First, the address written on TA as I write this review is wrong. It's on Soi Phiphati 2 (not soi 1). To get there, head down Soi Convent from Silom Road around 200 meters and turn right onto Soi Phiphat 2 at the first 7-11 on the right side of the road (there are several others on the left side).... In a quiet side soi off of convent road this quaint little restaurant offers some of friendliest service. Its claim to fame is fish and chips. My grilled fish was panfried and rubbery. The salad was good. The price was a bit higher than average and only accentuated the disappointment in the food.

The owner Sam was very nice. The hand cut potatoes were delicious! The fish was good, not great but ok, for a fish and chips place it should be better. Plastic chairs and cheap metal tables make the atmosphere feel cheap but there are lots of plants that help make it enjoyable. The little staircase to get to the second... More

This place on a nice quiet street right in the centre of Bangkok. The roof top is lovely with trees and plants and nice lighting. The atmosphere is really good and it obviously has lots of regulars that keep going back for more. The food was good, I had the Dory fish and chips which was very tasty although the... More
