Nice looking place. Stylish and all that. Friendly helpful staff. But come on - 320 baht for 2 small iced coffees. That's almost £7.50 or $9. Shameful really....be warned.

Tidy little cafe with good food and helpful staff near the Sheraton orchid hotel. Not busy with customers, but good quality food. Slightly above average prices, but still very affordable.

The food was very good and the staffs were really friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect, not too far from the main road and you can find it easily once you make a turn to the alley.

Tom yum soup was the best we have had anywhere! Full of fresh prawns, kaffir lime leaves, galangal... it was a treat for the senses.

Based on reviews and outside appearance of this cafe, I expected it to be much better. Stopped by for drinks and snacks and found it to be rather disappointing. They have a very small seating area inside with a few art items for decor, but nothing noteworthy. The outdoor seating was cramped, with the tables placed on what appears to... More

A very tasty Thai restaurant on the way from mandarin oriental hotel to Rivercity if you walk. The owners also keeps an art gallery. A couple of years ago both the gallery and the restaurant were around the corner of the current location. Interior was different - sort of antique Chinese tables, burmese lacquerware etc. and now the style has... More

A stone's throw from the Orchid Sheraton this small but modern restaurant provides excellent Thai food at reasonable prices. The staff are welcoming and the mango sticky rice superb.

Always good traditional Thai food, very cold Singha beer and pleasant staff - we walk to it from the Oriental on route to River City and get lunch on the way - quiet but probably busier in the evenings

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
