I walked into this joint the other day and ordered king prawns, bread and water. It costed me 850 baht. I could not believe that I got that little snack for such an overprice like that. Now it's my fault for ordering the 600 baht prawns, but I guess I thought I would get a lot more that 5 little... More

Bawarchi is a MArquee for Indian Food in BAngkok.....Lovely way of Serving MAsala PApad as served PApad Cones stuffed with teh regular fare of Onions/Tomato mashup....Food is very tasty. Pricing is a bit on the higher side if u compare the serving size....One porition is sufficient for 2 average apetite adults.

Been this restaurant a quite a few times over the years but now find its pricing itself far too high- it's Thailand after all! Plus theres very little choice on the menu- especially the Starters. We ordered one Pilau Rice, one Butter Chicken, two Garlic Naan and two glasses of water. The cost was near 900 baht. (We had eaten... More

This was simply the best Indian food we had ever had and considering that we are Indians this is a lot to say. The ambiance was perfect with live ghazal music, the cutlery was exquisite and the food simply too good. Every dish was cooked perfectly but prices are on the higher side. But for the quality and ambiance definitely... More

Why is it that the best Indian we have ever eaten happened in Thailand? (And yes, we have spent time in India!) Handily located on Soi 11, professionally run, scrupulously clean....and THE best food. Thankyou for a thoroughly enjoyable meal! Tips : try their Aloo Chaab (delicious), and their gorgeously spicey butter chicken.

First time going to an Indian restaurant outside Canada. It was extremely tasteful, a bit pricey for Bangkok, the staff was great, friendly and courteous.

As an Indian, I visited this restaurant but was not happy with the service. The restaurant is trying to make dime and nickle by eluding customer with wrong items. They sold me spicy papad that was sitting in the corner with tons of mosquito on it. The dishes were not clean including the glass. The quality of service was also... More

My friend and I were just walking past this restaurant, which happened to have a mist spray outside which we stopped to enjoy in the Bangkok heat. Thinking it looked like a nice place to stop and eat, whilst we were here, we ventured inside. The restaurant is split into 2 areas, so you can have smoking or non smoking.... More

The restaurant serves amazing Indian food almost all through night. They serve liquor as well. Very tasty food. The people are very friendly that makes you compromise on other unimportant things. I had biryani and it was splendid. Their masala chai was ek dham super. They have 5 branches in the same vicinity. They located just few meters away from... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
