Nice and modern restaurant in the neighbourhood of Sathorn, just one step from Shangri-la hotel. We had dinner there 2 consecutive days, so you understand how much we enjoyed it. The menu is quite wide, a mix of Thai and western food, high quality ingredients. We tried bruschetta with tomato confit, the beef steak with potato wedges, morning glory veggies,... More

We visited this resturant last night (found via trip advisor),and although it appears to be a mistake, and you at first come across a clothes boutique, don't walk away.keep walking up the side street (so shop is on your left and a fence is on your right),and the resturant just appears in sight.. Not very big in size, but this place is a... More

We started with calamari and had 2x meals. The calamari were full of batter not very nice at all. I personally ate chilli prawn pasta and when I got my dish I could,'t believe that they gave me that meal. I mean it was TINY and full of oil. That was a bad dish. It is a great shame because... More

My wife and I had just got off the shuttle boat from the Anantara Hotel and were looking for somewhere to eat. We were a bit disappointed that we had failed to see anywhere on the main road and were about to turn back and head for the Sky Train. We were at the corner of a street with a... More

This boutique restaurant has great food and service. If staying at the Shangri-La or the Mandarin Oriental hotel it is just walking distance down the street. You will enjoy the ambiance and food.

Mazzaro was the best restaurant we went to in Bangkok. We ordered a pineapple rice and a pizza for my girlfriend and 4 coke. It was a bit expensive. Ending it all on 900 + baht. The food was excellent and looked great. The restaurant serves both Thai food and European/Western food like pizza, burger, pasta, pad Thai, pineapple rice,... More

We had one more night left until we were flying home from an amazing time travelling Thailand for our Honeymoon. We were staying at the Lebua at state tower and we wanted somewhere nice and close to eat and my husband came across Mazzaro! I am so pleased this was our final meal in Thailand. It was really tasty! The... More

This restaurant was down the street from the hotel I stayed in for a conference. Went there for dinner with a large group. It's an Italian-Thai fusion restaurant. The tables are laid out tightly, as they wanted to fit our entire group towards the back portion of the restaurant. Hence some of us had limited space. The food was good... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
