I have been to Zagin + Sake since 2013 and i find this restaurant serving good american - japanese fusion food. The ambience is nice but the background music doesnt blend in with the food that they serve. The only downside that it is slightly off central sukhumvit and need to do some walking.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever been to. The food was incredible, the service also very good. We sat outside and it was just lovely. 1870 bait for 2 plus our 3 year old so not too expensive and really good value considering the food quality. So much more of the menu I'd like to try. You can't... More

Had a dinner here right after a 15 hr long haul flight. The food was hearty and filling, just what I needed. Not the cheapest but still pretty good value.

An absolute joy. Can not fault anything about this place. Although hidden and not easy to find, sure is, when You find it, You'll not regret. A pure gem, indeed it is.

I have been in Bangkok/Thailand 7 times, and nothing has been even close to this good food. Japanese Cousin at its best! This is a must visit when in Bangkok! Japanese chef, and amazing interior makes this place authentic! Thank you!

Seriously Super Sushi - And I've tasted a lot of Sushi from globally acclaimed restaurants - So, Kudos to the team of Zagin - Their Spanish Manager is very attentive and service is good. Bar concoctions could be improved. Ambience is relaxed - No fussy decor etc... laid back, casual and chilled dining experience. You can find cheaper sushi yet... More

Towards the end of our trip to Thailand, we were looking to try a sushi restaurant and chose Zagin+Sake based upon the great reviews. Zagin+Sake truly is a great find. Everything we had, we loved! We started out with a few different appetizers. I also had a few sushi rolls, while my husband had a steak. Although the steak was... More

This restaurant was pretty much the highlight of our third trip to Bangkok!! After a recommendation from a friend who’d been there 10 months ago and given it rave reviews we couldn’t wait to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out this was hands down the best Japanese fusion we have ever eaten! It gives all the modern... More

We went to this restaurant for dinner after a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. The general layout of the restaurant is great, right down to the fitout of the rest rooms. The food is of a very high quality and is a exciting twist on modern Japanese cuisine. I eat Japanese alot and must say this is... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
