Not a high class venue but serve very good Thai foods at very inexpensive prices. Although not high class, hygiene very acceptable, better than many inexpensive or not so cheap Thai or Thai Chinese restaurants. This venue seems not well known among tourists since me and my friends were the only non locals there that evening.

Excellent food, very friendly staff! Simple place, but definitely worth a visit or the food. One of the pictures showing seems to be the wrong restaurant, but not a problem.

Came here with some friends and the food was absolutely wonderful. I love seafood and everything was cooked to perfection. Be sure to try the curry mudcrab and the garlic shrimps. The clams were also very good. They keep most things alive in basins so it can't be fresher. I

Located halfway between Si Phraya and Surawong roads, this is a clean, nice place almost entirely for locals, with a quite large and very varied menu. They have beer but no wine. They do quite a lot of Vietnamese dishes and quite a lot of sefood. My girlfriend and I chose very different dishs and all were superb. A large... More

This place serves authentic Vietnamese and fresh seafood in simple, clean surroundings. We had both the steamed and baked bass fresh out of the tank: they were delicious. So was the prawn noodle soup and the giant barbecued prawns. Excellent vegetables added to an overall memorable experience. Also enjoyed the dips, sauces and Vietnamese salad and herb bowl from which... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
