As a Platinum elite member I stay in many hotels around the world. I must say this is the best hotel restaurant I have ever dined at. The breakfast buffet is fabulous. So many options from a noddle station, omelette station, crepes station and even a juicer. The quality of the food excellent. The restaurant is very up to date... More

Japanese, Indian, Thai and continental are the choices. The buffet is well laid-out, with high quality ingredients. Vast selection of seafood and desert. The mango-rice is must to try. Overall, it was fantastic!

We stayed at the JW Bangkok for three nights Dec. 31st to Jan 3rd. My family and I (husband and 3 kids ages 15, 13, & 11) had breakfast at the Marriott cafe every morning. The selection in the breakfast buffet was incredible. There was a vegetarian section which offered international options, lots of Indian selection. The fresh yogurt with... More

For a 5 star hotel their nitetime Buffett is simply awful! Amazing given that bangkok is known for its amazing ones. This place has lamb chops that need a chainsaw, only a single Indian dish , obviously frozen see food and left over sushi from their Japanese restaurant. We were all shocked!

There is nothing to criticize, a lot of choices for fresh delicious meals. I can say that I have never tried very tasty lentil before. And foods have never run out. This buffet was exceptional. You should try if you have any opportunity.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
