The ambience was amazing, the food sublime and the service incredible. We chose the lantern festival special menu and were not disappointed. The chef knows his cooking and produced a wonderful meal. We were delayed for personal reasons, but the restaurant was so very accommodating.

We celebrated Christmas lunch with our friends. Everything was exception, the food was amazing, the venue is spectacular, the band was wonderful and the service was first class. We will definitely go back next time we are in Chiang Mai.

The food and service provided was exceptional,the grounds outside the restaurant are absolutely stunning we celebrated the Loy Krathong while there and the restaurant provided us with a beautiful candle which we floated and made a wish whilst placing it into the river

We were with a group of friends taking the Christmas lunch. Super pleasant location and atmosphere. Three courses meals plus some amuse-buche. Excellent in all counts including the service. Restaurant usually opens for dinner but Christmas lunch was offered once a year.

My new husband and I visited Crystal last Friday night, for the last night of our honeymoon. We had the 2500 Baht set menu, which was absolutely stunning! The stand-outs for us were the truffle cappuccino and the steak with truffle sauce (we love truffles!)...- the intensity of flavour was outstanding. However, every course was delicious. There was a live band - at the start we were sitting outside and I didn't realise they were live, but we then asked to be moved inside to see the band, who were great - lovely, romantic singing. The staff were so friendly and kind, professional yet with a great sense of humour. And at the end they presented us with a bouquet of red roses to celebrate our honeymoon! They took some pictures of us and kindly sent them to us the next day All in all, we would highly recommend Crystal for a special meal! Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening.More

Tonight we ate at Le Crystal for the first time. We ordered the tasting menu with cocktails and wine, and it was truly outstanding!!! Each course was excellent and offered something special. We especially liked the trio of appetizers, mushroom soup, Wagyu beef and blueberry...ice cream. The wines were great, and the service was premium and very attentive. We were also treated to nice live music. It made for a great evening. We will be going back. We highly recommend Le Crystal. It is the best restaurant we have eaten at in Chiang Mai.More

We and two friends attended the February month end buffet and enjoyed it. The date was February 29, and to celebrate leap year, they offered a buy three, get four pricing. This brought the price down to a very reasonable level. The service was excellent...and the food choices were abundant. Our only concern was that none of the food was on offer under sneezeguards. We’d recommend that Le Crystal look into finding some to improve the overall sanitation of the buffet.More

Excellent restaurant: Delicious food, superb service, value for money, plus free transportation. To top the list, the Crepes including the at the table preparation was so good, despite we normally don't take desert! Sorry we missed the jazz band as it was not a weekend...we went. Excellent and definitely for up market & special occasions. As you walk into the restaurant it oozes class and style. It has a lovely large air conditioned inside area but we booked for the terrace outside with lovely gardens overlooking the river. Excellent attentive service....The food quality was excellent and faultlessly presented. Our friend who recommended and took us said they do a once a month amazingly good buffet but you MUST book well in advance. We ate off the table d’hote set menu. Excellent and just as good as a la carte. Fab Australian lamb shank. Cooked to perfection. The house red was brilliant for a vin d’oc wine. Yes French wine in Thailand is understandably expensive but worth it for such a nice meal. Allow £50 a head approx.More

If you looking for a fine dining restaurant with reasonable price in Chiang Mai, I highly recommend Le Crystal Restaurant. I reserved an indoor table (with air conditioning) for dinner by email before flying to Chiang Mai in early Nov. I appreciated that the restaurant...sent a reminder to me in the morning of my booking. The restaurant is situated next to a river and has outdoor and indoor tables. The outdoor tables are in a garden with many flowers. Service was excellent throughout our stay in the restaurant. Staff were polite with smiling faces and in good English. We took dinner set. Tasty food with right portion. I especially recommend to pay an additional THB700 for three cups of wine (sparkling wine, white wine and red wine) which can be shared by two of you. We enjoyed the dinner and felt comfortable and relaxing!More

My husband & I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Le Crystal. The restaurant exceeded our expectation on food quality, service & environment. We ordered Alaskan King Crab Salad, Cream of Mushroom Soup, Maine Lobster...... All nicely presented with superb taste. In addition to food quality,...their service is flawless. From the moment you entered the premises to the very last minute of departure, even on the route to washroom, they won’t disappoint you. As for the environment, the lovely garden overlooking Ping River is just like what you see on the photos on their website. Seeing outdoor & arriving in the early evening is recommended in order not to miss the beautiful scene. Last but not the least, they are kind enough to provide free transport to & from your hotel. Amongst all the French Restaurants I’ve visited in the various cities in Thailand in the past 20+ years, this is amongst the best.More
