Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Chiang Mai. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Chiang...Mai. The beef Rossini Tenderloin with fois gras is to die for!! Highly recommend!More

Excellent French food. Surprised to find in Chiang Mai. Well worth the visit. Better than our experience in Bangkok. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

We visited Chez Marco twice during our stay in Chiang Mai—the first time was so good we had to return! On our first visit we started with a crisp delicious mixed salad and gyoza accompanied by the house white wine. For entrees, I had the...ravioli with goat cheese and spinach while my husband had a perfectly done chicken leg in mustard sauce. We tried the house red wine with our mains. For dessert we shared Creme Brule. Everything was done perfectly, the wine was good, even the bread is worth a mention! and the staff was friendly and attentive without being too much. A few days later, craving more, we returned! We shared the delicate asparagus in truffle oil for a starter, and for mains, tried the salmon with Japanese sauce, and beef bourginoun (sp?) with limoncello over vanilla ice cream for dessert. Again, delicious, attentive and wonderful. Try Chez Marco for a consistently lovely experience.More

Twice last year and returned again on further trip to Chiang Mai in March 23 during a severe burn off period by local area farmers. Cough, cough. Loved the Cold Cuts platter - without the cheese. Whilst this is listed as a Starter for me...it was adequate as my entire meal as it included bread (I’m a Senior). This place is casual but “special” with quite a good menu selection on offer. Good service by staff. Located near Raming Lodge on Loi Kroh Rd. Note: not open on Sundays and front outdoor area gets some mosquitos so long trousers are helpful.More

An international cuisine that pleases even the foodies in your family. Evening’s special pate en crout was a world class treat combining a variety of meats unlike any we’d ever had.

Have not been here for years so was happy to know that it is now open for lunch into Dinner! 12.30pm-9pm. We had a great time, arrived at 1.30pm & left at 9.30pm!! We started with 12 pieces of home-made Gyoza between the 2 of...us accompanied by a bottle of Red, followed by the Sea-food spaghetti for my friend AND a Salad I did NOT recognize at all, a strange dish I have never ever experienced but I ate it anyway! Followed by the lemon-sorbet with Vodka( lovely). accompanied with a bottle of Sparkly vino. A lovely afternoon was had by us at this eaterie. Service was great, very attentive waitress who looked after us very well.More

I note some recent reviews are not supportive and mention poor recent attendance but whole of Chiang Mai is under pressure to attract tourists and even some expats/locals not yet ready. You should see other places (Cambodia etc) crying out for customers. Have been here...twice so far during my short stay and have enjoyed my experience on each occasion. Yes, I too did see the Chef come and sit with people he knew but didn’t think it impacted service. I think in doing that he could have acknowledged other patrons whilst he was in the dining area which would be a small simple but nice gesture but okay, no big deal. Maybe next time after he reads these comments. I couldn’t fault the food and presented per my request even though I made some small changes. Happy to recommend for a nicer dinner yet still simple in style.More

It used to be good French place, but not anymore. Every dish I ordered was not good. Foie gras is small and overcooked. I tell this to the waitress, and nothing can be done. Ribeye steak order for medium, it came over cook and beef...quality is so bad. Sauce is no good. I can only see old expat people dine here but no more Thai. Place is no longer busy like the pass. Chef does not care cooking, he came out to drink with his friends. This place used to be my most favorite place but sorry I will not be back again.More

We were so pleased with our dinner on our second night, we went for lunch on a fourth (and last) day. The Steak was especially nice and very good value. We also had the duck salad, duck confit, salad nicoise, Pork Chop, another pork dish...and a pasta. All were good or better. The setting is lovely and to our taste. Casual, very casual but the food is of high quality and prepared and presented with talent and flair. You have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Recommended.More

Although we are long term locals, ee dont get to eat at restaurants that we would consider 'posh' very often. So when we do go out for a fancy meal we really want it to be worth it... And this was! Fantastic food, fresh ingredients...and clearly prepared with care and skill. We will be back for sure.More

apply as low as 150 or so. Entire UP TO 750-800. There or special items that may cost more. Wine is as anywhere. They have bottles for over 3,000. Sorry for the late response. Hope it is still useful.
