Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I've been to the Lemongrass about 15 times over the years when I just want some decent Thai food at a reasonable price. The dishes are simple but tasty. Most enjoyable is that you can order about five dishes and not pay a fortune and then be able to enjoy a wide variety of Thai specialties. The restaurant even serves house wine, although it won't be a high-end sort. I recommend starting with their vegetable spring rolls, and then take several main dishes such as massaman (pork) curry, steam sea bass and don't forget some veggies such as morning glory. For the price, you can't complain. I keep going back!

Lemongrass is excellent. Ate here three times whilst in Chiang Mai. It has All the Thai dishes are on the menu, service is top notch, and the price is low (you may as well go for that extra side dish!). The team here were the hardest working people we saw across Thailand on our trip.

We visited The lemongrass restaurant last night and had a delicious meal food is very reasonably priced our meal cost us half the price than when we were in Bangkok. Our family had chicken pad Thai, Chicken Penang, rice, Satay chicken, Khao Soi which is a dish that is known in Chiang Mai. The place is very unique with its decor looks like a street cafe with a lovely atmosphere. Our friends recommended this place when they went 9 years ago and it’s still just as good now so we highly recommend it!

Best Thai food in Chaing Mai by far! We went here following a recommendation by our taxi driver. We had planned to eat at the night markets where we’d eaten the two previous nights but thought we’d give it a go. Our plan was to have just one dish and then head to the markets. We ordered the chicken Penang curry and it was the best thing we’d eaten all of our trip! We quickly ordered the drunken noodles to share and were happy that they were just as good. If you’re in Chaing Mai make sure you head here for authentic tasty cheap Thai food. If it wasn’t our last night when we discovered it we would have gone again and tried more of the Menu.

This place offers a good variety of Thai food. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and even a store selling fashionable & cool things like jewelry, bags, cushions, clothings etc. The Tom Yum soup is very tasty. The coconut delight & the mango sorbet are also good. This place is good for lunch or dinner. The rice rolls with some flowers is quite unique.

Amazing food and service. Have been to lemongrass before and it holds up. This hole in the wall restaurant just off of the night market in Chiang Mai is a great spot for inexpensive local Thai food. The restaurant looks to be family run and has most of your favourites and new bites to try. The morning glory is tasty and fresh. Pad Thai is authentic as you can get. The food and drink are locally priced so you can get drinks and lunch or supper for approx 400 baht. This local gem should be experienced, just know that in the evening there will likely be a lineup and they do not take reservations.

We went to lemongrass on two separate evenings. We tried the pad sea ew, some spicy curry I don’t remember the name but it’s like number 64 ish on the menu, massaman curry and pad Thai. All of it was great. Quick service and a small little local restaurant vibe. Definitely go here if you are hungry. It’s a little outside of old town but very close to the bridge to the river and close to Anusran market

We have visited this place in previous years and back then the food was excellent. On our latest visit, we popped in for some dinner and drinks. Still the same great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. I had the red Thai curry with chicken, my wife had a chicken noodle dish and we had a portion of veg with a tempura batter. All very nice. As a red Thai curry lover, I can honestly say that there’s is by far the best I’ve tasted anywhere in Thailand. Big portions also so don’t make the mistake of ordering a lot of food based on other restaurant size portions or you will be struggling to finish unless you are particularly

We ate here a couple of times while staying in Chiang Mai for a month. Many locals as well as tourists.... the food never disappointed (loved the curry!) It was lively, the wait staff personable, and the price - WOW - can't beat the price, terrific value. Be sure to put this place on your radar if in the area!

We ate here on two of our three nights in Chiang Mai and I suppose I need say no more! Absolutely wonderful and such good value! Over the two nights we sampled pineapple fried rice with chicken (served in a pineapple), drunken noodles, chicken satay, vegetarian rolls, beef fried rice - all delicious! Beer is available, but not wine. However there is a 7/11 store nearby where you can purchase wine and bring it. The staff are friendly and efficient. Try this one out - you won't be disappointed!

Immensely popular and deservedly so. I had dinner there last night and went before 6:30, with no wait for a table; there was a line when I left. My chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce was quite flavorful. I came back for lunch today and had Khao Soi, which was probably my best meal of the entire trip -- delicious. Inexpensive, not at all fancy, but quite good.

We walked by around 7pm and there was a queue we returned around 8.45 and waited 15 mins for a table and over 1 hour for our food. Too much fussing over a tour guides table and not enough focus on other customers. We almost walked out but they had cooked 2 out of 3 meals and we cancelled the third. The pineapple curry tasted nice but wasn't worth such a long wait...I would only recommend if it looks quiet or you are happy to waste hours waiting.

Great place to go for great Thai food. All the favourites are here; fast and excellent service. Reasonable price-always busy. I had many curries in my life but the Green chicken curry was the best I ever had.

This is one of many restaurants in the area, it is very busy and popular with European tourists. It's fairly basic, the tables are formica and they don't accept credit cards. However the food portions are large, the beer is cheap and 2 courses + 2 large beers only sets you back around 600 thai bahts.
