Small entry on street, goes way back and opens into a spacious bar and restaurant, a pleasant surprise! Very large menu, stir fries (might have written stir fires, and it would also be correct if you selected spicy, i.e. pet mak), veg, pork, chicken or any combo, rice noodles as you wish.

We love this place! If we were in Chiang Mai longer or another time, we'd go again. Fantastic curries, great prices and the salads are out of this world.... but hot hot hot. Ask for mild if you're in any doubt but you must go if you're here or near.

Went at the swan for dinner. The burmese food was good and the staff nice. The restaurant is nicely decorated and you feel welcome. They do have some very good dessert too.

The food is absolutely amazing. Never tried Burmese cuisine before so just ordered some random salads and curries but it was all so tasty and full of flavour. And if they say hot it will be really hot so be careful. It was so good I would be back tomorrow if we weren't leaving Chiang Mai. Not to be missed

We had several Burmese dishes which were a bit heavy but generally good. Service was slow and the drinks were very weak. I got a long island iced tea which somehow had no alcohol in it so come here for the food, not the drinks.

I and my Wife went there in the afternoon for lunch before depart to Bangkok. The reason why I went there because I didn't know where to go for meal at all. Therefore I took a look in Trip advisor and found out that there are many tourists came to this restaurant and have never tried burmese food before. The... More

This was the only restaurant we had on our 'must visit' list when coming to Chiang Mai, as I was very keen to try authentic Burmese food outside of Burma. We visited during the Loy Krathong festival period for an early dinner and naturally the place was absolutely packed. We were probably lucky to be seated immediately without a reservation,... More

We went my husband and I with our child and requested to have her meal first. They took very long for preparing our meals and we had a big surprise when they brought our meals, but not our child's meal, she had to wait even more!! Also the restaurant is full of ants, my husband found 2 in his neck... More

Hello, we're sorry you didn't enjoy your experience. I remember you quite clearly, as you came in the evening during Loy Kratong. This 3 day holiday is exceptionally busy for us, and I must say, your wait for food was no longer than 20 minutes. Our Western food menu takes longer than our Burmese/Thai menu, so that is why the... If you want to take a brake from thai food, this place is great option. I may recomend: - Parang ma nai salad is awesome! - Sarpia - ground beef, delicious (if you like spicy) - Pbla oop - steamed fish They serve really big portions! For example Fried banana with ice cream means actually four fried bananas :). A... More
