El Toro is best known for it's Salsa music and Spanish and Thai food. However, there is a new addition to the Menu: 'Nee's Noodles' are terrific -- the best I've tasted! At 40 baht for a large portion I can recommend them. Although they have only been on sale for a couple of weeks now the locals and tourists... More

I attended El Toro with my girlfriend in February 2016. As an owner of a Mexican food business I love to try mexican food and see how people do it differently and can also sympathise with a few of the poorer reviews on here. Firstly, we are in Thailand so the food isn't going to be 'just how momma cooks... More

Wanted a change from Thai food and decided to try here. OK. We are in Thailand , so as you can imagine it was not the most authentic Mexican I haveeaten -BUT - it was not that bad. I had the special nachos and my wife had the quesadillas . The prices were not bad so all in all it... More

Mexican food is not authentic at all. The burritos lacked flavor. Refried beans were puréed and tasteless. My wife said the fried rice was OK, but with so many other choices, I would suggest going somewhere else.

I decided that a Mexican meal would be a change from all of the Thai food I had been eating so I went to El Toro. My friend was running late so I ordered the 'super nachos' as a starter and waited. When the nachos arrived they were not cooked, you could tell that the oil was not hot enough... More

This little place serves something akin to Mexican food -- not real Mexican but it is edible. It also offers Thai food. There is a comfortable outside seating area, and the waiter is a pleasant young man.

I'm a Texas and Arizona, USA mexican food lover. This mexican food was superb! The tortillas were homemade and delicious. I got the burrito with beans and rice. Fantastic and very courteous staff. Good value too! Would recommend to any mexican food lover :)

Our waitress Lek had virtually no customer service skills and seemed to be more interested in talking on her hands-free phone than us. The cocktail we ordered was ok, but our food took forever (figuratively). Once we got our food it tasted good, but we had to wait a long time (virtually an empty restaurant), to get it. There was... Good Tex/Mex. Reasonable prices. Wished they would use Pinto instead of Kidney beans but that is only complaint. Margaritas were very strong. Two is all I could handle. However, very tasty!

Been here a few times and the food is a very reasonable price. It may not be as authentic as is found in many mexican restaurants in the states but remember this is the north of Thailand and they do a very good job with the ingredients they can purchase here. I recommend the Fajitas here and be careful how... More
