Walking down the street back to our hotel we were searching for a place to get some dinner. We were almost back when my wife spotted Menta right off the sidewalk. The sign offered Israeli cuisine. Neither one of us are familiar so we asked for help. The owner gave us suggestions of couscous, falafel, and hummus. There were some... More

Menta has really great food plus excellent service. The owners Gil and his wife Nai will go out of their way to make what you want. Even if it's not on the menu! I have to be honest, everytime we go, we get the falafel, it's just sooo good. I'm sure their other dishes are just as delicious! If you... More

I wrote the first notice on this restaurant upon my arrival in CM 3 months ago and as I am about to leave the city, I want to thank Gili for having been my host, confident, friend... and "Jewish Mother" during my whole stay! I came there almost everyday and never once opened the menu as Gil has this amazing... More

We stumbled into this place and were very pleased that we did! The owner was incredibly nice and honest...he went so far as to say that there were certain items that we should NOT order because the local market was out of the ingredients and they may not be as fresh. He suggested the falafel and it was to die... More

We have been here before, average food, we stopped because it is close to where we live, the special of the day was chicken with fried potatoes. It looked good on the board, but when it came it was not properly heated and both chicken and potatoes tasted like they were not from today. We complained and did not get... More

A friend recommended me this restaurant, and I cannot thank her enough. The manager Gil is an Israeli guy married to a Thai woman, Nai. They both do all they can to make you feel comfortable and satisfied. I want to stress that the variety of food proposed is not like many Asian restaurants in Europe who claim to serve... More

The owner of this establishment is a very open and friendly guy. We became friends right away. The food was filling and excellent as well. There was also a couch inside where you could lie down or read a book etc. The best seats however are the two outside facing the city. I got to see a special holy parade... More

I'm staying in Chiang Mai for several months and near my condo I found this place. Very nice owner, and very good food. I go several times a week. I eat a lot of Thai but when I go to Menta I always have a good diner and a nice fresh salade. Or good coffee. Didn't try everything yet but... More

Menta is like a home away from home. Good food, Thai, Israeli and Western. Just let the owners Gil and Nai know what you like and they will make sure you are satisfied. Absolutely love their Pita Bread, Babaganoush, Chicken Kebabs, Salads and Dips. Their special Lemonade with mint should definitely be tried. Coffee and other drinks highly recommended as... More
