Pretty disappointed considering the reviews, maybe we just caught them on a bad day, the food was bland and the seafood was chewy. We both didn't finish our meals and the server seemed to be in a bad mood. Wouldn't go back

This restaurant is amazing. It's very basic, no frills and very cheap. The kitchen is in the street behind the bar, where multiple woks are on the go cooking the most delicious Thai food. The menu is extensive, we ended up coming back every night. Our meals, with lager cost less than £10 for two of us. Go there, you... More

I've been eating at MaMa's for the past 5 years and I always recommend it to friends and family when they visit Chiang Mai. MaMa's is the best of the bunch when it comes to traditional Thai cooking and they do it at prices that have me wondering how. I always have the green curry soup with rice, the spicy... More

This place was near our guesthouse so we ate here a couple of times and found the food to be very good. We've been eating at street stalls and the markets so I can't compare Ma Ma to other restaurants, but it compares well to the cheap, tasty dishes we get from the stalls. The chef/waiter is friendly and service... More

I recommend this restaurant. We stumbled across it on accident on a busy night in Chiang Mai and then went back many times. The food is amazing, especially the fried chicken and curries. I love the service too, you feel like you are part of the family.

There is the standard Thai fare here with some other things thrown in. The map on trip advisor is off on this one, so use Google to find it. On to the review. I wanted to try the spaghetti and they said they had beef. It must have been a work cow. Tough as leather, like much of the beef... More

I attended Mama's with my girlfriend in February 2016. We were wondering down one of the less busy streets and wanted a meal so popped in. First of all the owner sat us down and all the tables had mess on them, fair enough, they may have been busy beforehand. So, he dissapeared and after a few minutes presented us... More

We stumbled across this restaurant one day walking back to the hotel and figured we would pop in. It took a while for us to be served, nobody came to take our order and then a friendly person told us the chef was cooking so we'd have to pop through the back and write our order down. The food came... More

We had some lunch here and what can I say, really cheap food and very tasty! The only thing I should not have done in the end is go see the kitchen in the back of the restaurant. I saw the raw chicken in a big bole in the full sun, didn't look so good to us European tourists but... More

Yesterday been in Chiang Mai, turned in this cafe and food was very good and tasty! Just for their recommended must to eat dish (forgot the name of it, you will find it in menu) ask less spicy, unless you like very very spicy food. Next to these cafe was amazing massage place! Higly recommend!
