Little Gem.... came here last year a couple times and loved it. Back again and hasn't changed although seems quieter that previous. This time first visit snails, pork chop (huge) and creme brule, all fantastic meals and the server who has been here a while...was good and friendly made me feel welcome. My second visit snails again (as no pate of my choice) duck confit and yes again creme brule. All fantastic. Although not the cheapest food in Chiang Mia it is worth every baht. There are a few more items on menu I need to try but a creature of habit and love the meals already tasted adn can order the same every week. Will definately come back againMore
Thank you very much See you soon
Always a pefect experience eating there, food is amazing and staff very friendly. As a french living in Thailand for over 15 years, I can easily say that this is the place in Northern Thailand for anyone who want to enjoy french cuisine.
Merci et au plaisir
My favorite French place in Chiang Mai. The food is superb and the staff are super friendly. Look forward to going there again on my next trip
Thank you very from the Team
Despite our inclination to keep our trip to local cuisine only while in Thailand, following a late excursion, we were in a time crunch to choose a restaurant for dinner quickly one night. Had we found this restaurant earlier on our trip to Chiang Mai,...we would have had no choice but to come here EVERY night. We enjoy fine dining and regularly go out back home. Though we have had some amazing Thai food while on our 3 week trip throughout Thailand, this was simply next level quality. It’s honestly the best food we have had at ANY restaurant since prior to the covid pandemic. (Best beef carpaccio I’ve had at any restaurant in a very long time. And served exactly the way it should be. All other dishes were amazing as well.) Our only regret - the obnoxious group that ordered every last oyster in the house just prior to our arrival, leaving none for anyone else. NOT the restaurants fault of course. If you visit Chiang Mai, despite a likely urge to want to eat local food, this is simply a must try. Do it early on, as you will want to go back more than once.More
Thank you very much We will be please seeing you back Sao & Olivier
This wonderful bistro run by the owner chef and his wife is an absolute must to visit in Chiang Mai. The service is fabulous, the food delicious, the wines well thought out. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It is a bastion of civilisation....I am looking forward to my next visit.More
Thank you very much looking forward seing you again Sao & Olivier
Fantastique! Loved our meal here. Great service and great atmosphere. Food was delicious - as was the wine. Merci beaucoup!
Merci a vous
Great food, good service good value. This is the real deal and very reasonable prices for the wine. I would definitely go there again whenever I am in Chiang Mai. BTW the crem brolete is the best Ive ever had
thank you
First time I came to this restaurant was in 2018. It’s even better the 2nd time round!! Excellent authentic French food, true to what you would experience in France and with lovely Thai hospitality. We were a party of 14 and the host did an...excellent job to accommodate us with short notice. There will be a 3rd visit should we return to Chiang Mai.More
Thx guys Always a pleasure
After 3 weeks in Thailand I can finally write a good review. What can I say ... Service - excellent, immediate attention as soon as I opened the door. made me feel welcome and a friendly place. Water offered immediately as I sat down. The...service continued through my meal even though a couple larger tables and I was by myself I was never left behind. Food- the menu is not extensive which is good as you know everything will be fresh. There was a great mix and usually for me only one or 2 items but I did have trouble deciding as it all looked so good. Country style pate huge serving (too big for one as starter) and just deliscious. Escargot nice and tender and full of garlic butter just superb. Pork chop mash and mushroom sauce just brilliant. Desert - I just could not fit it in and I have the sweetest tooth in history. The meals were a very descent size full of flavour and beautiful presentation. The Chef also came out and said hello and checked I was happy- that just docent happen any more. OK there is one thing that I was not happy with but forgot all about it by the time I finished my meal and only just remembered. NO rind on the pork chop. would have loved some crackling. Probably the best restaurant I have been to this year and I have been travelling since February. Well done and you have to be proud of your staff and what you have.More
Thank you very much The Chef & his team
Everytime we come in Chiang Mai we stop by Le Bistro, simply because it is the best french food available in northern Thailand and owners are great people. Tonight my daughter finished her dish for the first time in a while (mushrooms soup), my wife...went for grilled lamb racks and I for stirloin wagyu; all perfectly cooked as usual. Le Bistro has an interesting choice of wine (we had Gevrey Chambertin followed by Chateauneuf du Pape tonight) so anyone can find what he's looking for. Clearly the place to go!More
Thank you so much for the review
My husband and I went to this restaurant as we both love French Cuisine and wanted to sample what they had in Thailand. I know that this seams a bit strange to want to try French in Thailand but there is only so much spice...you can eat before you need something European. The owner (French Male) and his wife (Thailand Woman) where very welcoming and he even came over to the table to chat and check to see what we thought of the meal. What a please to eat real french food and the taste was a good as what we have had in Brisbane. We shared the Escargot in Herb butter, they where fantastic! Both of us had a meal each and what a treat. I had the Bourguignon de Bouef and my husband had Choucroute Alsacienne - (Sausage, Smoked bacon and Paris Ham).More
Thank you very much for the review
There were 4 of us there for dinner. The restaurant was very comfortably furnished. We ate carpaccio, onion soup, 2 types of spaghetti, beef tartare and duck breast. Everything we ate was really really fantastic, all dishes exactly as they should be. The staff very...courteous and friendly. The price was rather high but we are happy to pay a bit more if everything is right for it. We will definitely come back. Many thanks for the nice evening.More
Thank you very much
What a fantastic meal!! The food was all cooked to perfection and the staff were brilliant. To start we had the pate platter and the onion soup which were both incredible and the best of each we've ever had. For our mains we had the...fillet and the ribeye and the potato gratin on the side - both steaks were beautifully cooked. The sauces were also delicious- we had the red wine and the peppercorn. For dessert we had the tarte aux pommes and the crème brûlée - again, both so well made and tasty. This is a great restaurant and I highly recommend it when you're visiting Chiang Mai - you won't be disappointed!!More
Thx so much for your review
Had a cold cut plate , grilled lamb chops , crème brulèe , red wine by the glass. The patés were excellent , the lamb chops not really grilled , rather cooked in an oven , the crème brulée average , with the crust having...a burned taste without being cracking . That all at a rather hefty price … a french restaurant can do better !More
