A beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful teak buildings and good food. I was there with my partner. I ordered schnitzel and my partner ordered lamb cutlets . My schnitzel was very tasteful. The meat was tender. The lamb cutlets was very tasty my partner said. First we asked for the wine list but the waiter said they only had 1 red wine... More

The all restaurant is made in wood and the decorations and the lighting made this place romantic for our first night in Chiang Mai. We order chicken wrap in a leaf as entry and it was very original and delicious.

Firstly ordered a Carlsberg. The beer was cloudy and tasted off, which can happen, however when brought to the waiters attention it was stated that was bottled and couldnt go off. Ordered Schnitzel for main course but got what looked and tasted like breaded chicken fillets with cold french fries. A pity as this is a beautiful setting but poor... More

One of the best Thai fish ever. @The Teak has a fantastic setting, and fantastic Thai food. We were staying about 2 blocks away across the street in Raming Lodge. After late lunch, wife and daughter said they weren't very hungry. But food was so delicious everyone was ready to order more. Fresh steamed fish, with Thai (photo), Tam Yam... More

Ate here as it looked amazing from the outside and was relatively busy. Got a table easily enough. Food was nice enough, service was ok, our waiter seemed a little distracted, where as the others seemed a bit more attractive. If you in that area of Chang Mai it is a bit more upmarket than some of the surrounding places.... More

The lady owner told us it took 4 years to build this incredible all teak restaurant. You really have to see it to believe the intricate construction. But the main thing is the service and the food. We went back twice during our short visit and both night were perfect with rave comments from all the mates. I have been... More

Beautiful surroundings and nice service. 50% of food great. Steaks served in two pieces and one was really good but the other piece was like another animal. Mentioned to waiter but not really acknowledged. Maybe just avoid the steak?

The setting is really beautiful which attracted us to this place. The staff are dry attentive and friendly and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately the food was quite bland, I had a Tom yum soup which came in a turpentine smelling hot pot and was just a little sour and my girlfriend had the beef massaman curry which was bland... This was my third visit to "The Teak" in 3 years. If you're looking for a good conversation with staff you are in the wrong place, but if you want to eat some high quality food in authentic surroundings, and can live with the fact that most This don't speak perfect english then this is the place! Tonight I ordered... More

We went there mainly because it looked nice. We had some classics: Pork Schnitzel, Pizza Salami and Pizza Hawai. The pizza was very small, but tasted okay. The schnitzel did not look too appealing, but tasted okay. The portion of fries was a little too small. The waiters were hardly understandable, not very attentive, hectic and conceptless. We were 2... More
