Went with several co-workers, and not one of us were disappointed. It’s a smaller, simple shop, that has good salads and sandwiches. Smoothies were pretty good also. One friend had a veggie sandwich, said it was excellent, another a chicken Caesar. It looked great, with...More

After having spent a few months in Thailand you begin to realize the fullness of all their dishes. The food is delicious, but without a strong ability to speak Thai, you can find yourself eating lots of thick and sugary sauces- it can get a...More

Such a rare treat to go out and enjoy a meal like this. Genuinely could not fault the food at all. Polite service. But the food trumped everything. Came 2 days in a row and had 2 meals each time. So nice. The highlight of...More

I like this place very much for breakfast or lunch. You can have tasty homemade healthy sandwhiches, salads, omeletes, amazing fresh quality smoothies, brownies. Price is good for the quality. Good coffee, free wifi. The only problems are: 1) It can get very crowded because...More

A little pricey. Definitely caters to the expat people in town. They serve great coffee, breakfast, and sandwiches, though. If you get fries, you have to pay extra 40 baht for ketchup and it’s only a little bit. Not enough for the fries.More

We appreciate your visit. Unfortunately, it looks as though you misunderstood our menu pricing. 40 baht is the cost of fries and that includes your choice of condiment. The condiment serving size meets the needs of the majority of our guests that appear happy that...More

Had breakfast & coffee at The Hideout twice during our stay in Chiang Mai. What a lovely little spot. Service was some of the best of any cafe we visited on this trip. Food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

We appreciate your visit and I'm glad that you found the food to be decent and inexpensive as these are our primary aims. We are very aware of the state of the restaurant interior and steps to remedy this are ongoing though we might never...More

The sandwiches are good and well prepared but have nothing extraordinary that can make this 'restaurant' number 3 on Trip Advisor. It's completely over evaluated. Cafe is OK but you can find hundreds of other places where cafe is much better. In addition the location...More

TripAdvisor's category for 'restaurant' implies that food is freshly prepared (in contrast to pre-prepared) and orders are taken at the table rather than at a counter. You'd also consider a hole-in-the-wall establishment selling pad thai to be a restaurant because it satisfies those conditions. The...More

Visitors The Hideout on Wed, Aug 29. Had the mango + passion fruit smoothie with probiotic yogurt and the banana bread. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Very low key. Inexpensive.

Best banana/mango milk shake in CM. The Caesar salad is perfection. The chicken on a bagel is my favorite sandwich and my wife loves the salmon salad. I’ve been eating here for years the consistency and passion can be seen & tasted I n every...More

Description
We don't serve fast food at our small, non-airconditioned restaurant. Sandwich, salad and breakfast restaurant serving locally-sourced coffee beans and fresh fruit for smoothies. Our bagels and baguettes are made by a bakery to our high standards and we make our own yoghurt. Use of high quality ingredients and skillful techniques gives you the taste of fine-dining without the fine-dining price. Find out where the flavour is hiding!
