I've been here 3 times, and I ordered the scrambled eggs on toast with bacon. The breakfast also comes with some grilled tomatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly, 3 times in a row. The scrambled eggs are delicious, and even the tomatoes are done perfectly. You will not find a better breakfast in Chiang Mai for 79 baht. Add an iced... More

First time visiting Chiangmai and have had such a wonderful time in this beautiful and relaxing city. Everyone we have encountered in this city has been polite and helpful. I'm sure I will leave this city with a great memory and return very soon. All the good memory will definitely exclude this little coffee shop on the side of the... More

Both of the staff were extremely rude and were dishonest about the pricing and portion they should have given to the customer. When I confronted them they just ignored the feedback and essentially served me half the portion for what we ordered. I believe the staff also discriminated against Asian clients which is an utter joke with their zhifubao sign... More

Lovely little nook on the main road that serves a simple but excellent quality range of food. We had breakfast porridge which had beautiful fresh fruit on top and the coffee is really good. Returning every day for breakfast while we are here.

Nice coffee shop with friendly staff and aircon. The coffee is good and inexpensive and the wifi is fast. Space to sit outside if you don't mind the busy traffic. Just up from the Orchid Hotel.

The entire Shell gas station, convenience mart, and Bitter Sweet are blocked off by a construction barricade 2.5 meters tall. Access is not currently possible and the Bitter Sweet sign appears to have been taken down.

Chiang Mai is located in a coffee producing country and fresh coffee is easy to find. Bitter Sweet is conveniently located between Maya and Kad Suan Kaew shopping centers. It's a street side small restaurant with indoor and covered patio seating. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and it is a good place to relax and chill (jai... More

Good coffee/tea/soda options for a great price. Free wifi makes this a great place to chill for an afternoon with a cup or two of coffee.

I walk by this place often and recently tried it a few times. The staff is friendly and the prices are somewhat lower than the upscale cafes along Nimmanhaemin and Sirimankalajan. They serve your coffee with a small glass of ice water and a sugar bowl -- nice. And that's the sweet. Now to the bitter. The setting here is... More
