Superb location in the Old City. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and quick. We ate her several times during our one week stay and were never disappointed.

As a non-garlic eater I wasn't sure how I would get on, but this restaurant was fantastic, no trouble at all. Delicious food, big menu choice & very reasonable prices
Superb quality food and very reasonably priced. Massamam curry was exceptional! I had the sweet and sour chicken which was fabulous.
We ate there for 3 times, cos it's located right in front of our hotel. Fried rice with crab meat, pad thai, fried vege, mango rice, young coconut are good. Khao Soi, fried flat noodle are average. But considering their friendly service, variety of food...and drinks that they can offer and of course cheap price, if you're near to this area, still worth to go. A 3.5 stars is more reasonable.More
We had dinner at 5 pm at The Old City Inn. We had three very traditional Thai dishes: tom ka gy (chicken coconut soup), gaeng kio wan (green curry), and mango sticky rice. We also got a young coconut which was decorated with an orchid....Service was very good, but the quality of the food was average at best. The green curry had very little chicken meat in it, and it seemed more like soup. Even at a relatively low price, the value of the dinner experience was average or lower.More
Hi, Green Red and Yellow Curries are soup. Panang is thicker and unlike the above soups does not come in a soup bowl, if you want non soup you could order panang , thanks for taking time to review
The place si nice and quiet, the waiters are kind and the Khao soi we took (the most traditional plate in Chang Mai) was amazing. Highly recomended!
Thanks
Service is ok, the waitresses are nice and attentive, althoughnot fluent in english. The place is small but clean and cosy. The food is very average. Piña coladas were below average and filled with normal ice...got some urgent visit to the bathroom when back at...the hotel.More
Hi El Fred, Did you arrive back at your hotel 24 hours after your visit ? Ice is Normal, Rganks
Staying at the hotel across the road and after walking all day wanted to eat close by. This place always has people inside. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Made our curry to our spice levels (hot) along with our papaya salad. Had dinner two...nights and each night the meals have been great. Definitely recommended.More
I recommend that restaurant. I was happy with the food and the restaurant including its nice staff. We ate everything and were full. The portions were good and slighlty bigger than the street restaurants, food was less salty and tasty. Really well located and easy...to find.More
This place has delicious food at reasonable prices. We ate Pad Thai and Pad Med Mamuang all with chicken and side dish rice. The portions are big enough and the tastes just amazing. Only downside is the store bought pineapple juice (not freshly squeezed as...on the similar places in Thailand).More
I was looking for lunch, and the Trip Advisor banner caught my attention ... I'm so glad it did, because this place is wonderful! I chhose the fried calamari as a starter. They came out looking like little golden-fried donuts, but when I bit into...one, the batter was a thin, crisp crust with the actual squid-ring loose inside. Very light, and possibly the best I've had. My main dish was massuman curry with pork, and it likewise was wonderful. They serve it in a large bowl, and it's a lot like a rich creamy soup (which is how I eat it, as I avoid rice.) It was lightly spicy, as if the chef knew rightly that its flavor would shine through all the better without heavy spices. And it did! The food would easily be worth twice the price. 120 baht for the calamari -- 89 baht for the curry. Cheap eats indeed, and really delicious! (I took my pictures with my big Lumix. Hope I can add them later.)More
The best massaman curry I've ever had, you have to try it!! Nice and welcoming staff! Pad Thai is also very delicious
Fantastic food in Chiang Mai !!! The food was so delicious. We had the papaya salad, Penang curry - both were the best we’ve had in the last 10 days in Thailand! We also ate the steamed fish which was average. Would highly recommend eating...here.More
We had Tom yum gong and chicken Khao soi both were good. The pad Thai is average same standard as any pad Thai you can find in Sydney. The place is clean and cool.
Delicious food!!!! Great price. Also located in the city center. We ordered only thai food and it was the best ive had in Thailand
