We visited here for lunch a couple of days ago. The service was wonderful the view amazing and the food sensational! The grilled snapper was devine as was everything else. We enjoyed French Rośe and an espresso martini. Everything was delicious!

We managed to get in before the end of the Happy Hour and sampled quite a few different daiquiris expertly prepared and quite potent! For dinner this time my wife had fish and chips off the menu and very good. I had some prawn cakes...which were quite nice, but the Beef Salad was disappointing! My friend had the chicken satay and seafood rice in pineapple, which he enjoyed. Service good and very friendly as usual!More

Thank you for returning. We value our loyal returning diners enormously. Will certainly be looking at the preparation of Thai Beef Salad again...

Nice setting beachfront, greenery and Thai music and dancers to entertain while you enjoy your meal. Your overpriced adequate meal. Khao Soi for the bride and a duck curry for yours truly! Both at 350 Thai baht, lacked flavour and spice, had a better serve...half a dozen doors down the road for 100 Thai baht. Obviously your paying resort prices.More

Food and servie were great! Good selection in the menu, great presentation... You eat with a style I would say. It is more of a show off - even if you are alone, it is not hjust a meal it is a treat, because for...a meal to get satsified with food and not be hungry you could go to any other place and will be just as fine as... Anyway - certainly deserves great marks on the reivews! And yes, you could see a secret tunnel if you ask... I did review on TripAdvisor and knew what to ask for.... And I did get a short tour after my lunch.More

Poppies Restaurant is the most established beachside dining restaurant on Samui. Featuring Thai and International dining in a gorgeous setting since 1994, Poppies is a must when visiting Koh Samui. The amazing beachside location makes for a fantastic experience at lunch or dinner or any...time of the day. An interesting twist is that you can now enter the restaurant via the Hidden Passage, an underground tunnel that serves as a delivery entrance by day and a historic walk through the Poppies 44 year history by night.More

Stunning location and some of the most welcoming and friendly service I’ve received. All the Thai dishes are excellent, some of the best on our trip so far. Not sure why you’d order western food in this paradise setting but they also have a western...menu just in case. Poppies manages to combine a beautiful jungle villa resort with beachside restaurant in a stunning way. Don’t miss this and the fact that it’s a little away from the center is a positive ... worth the few minutes extra to get here.More

If you want to experience the best Thai food imaginable in the very best of settings with attentive staff served traditionally then this is the place. We were lucky enough to visit recently and it was the highlight of our holiday. Traditional Thai dancing and...music was discreetly in the background as we dined by the sound of water running through the pools and gardens. There is also a secret passage entrance depicting the history of the restaurant. An absolute delight!More

Beautiful! What a setting! It was so wonderful here I absolutely loved it. We were lucky to get a water front table and didn’t have a reservation. The food was SO delicious, I had a rice dish in a pineapple and it was so tasty...and my favourite food I’ve experienced on this holiday. I would definitely return. We had a delicious desert too which was a lemon meringue. 5* food and drinks and a reasonable price too.More

My wife and I went to the restaurant as we walked by the beach and realized there’s a Thai style dancing show so we decided to go. Maybe it was the off peak season there weren’t many customers, a bit empty with a total of...5 tables of dining customers. The foods were medium quality and the Mojito I had did not taste like it at all. I would say it is a bit overrated consider its price, food and drink quality, you should be able to get the same taste with half price elsewhere. However the service was very good, and there is a tunnel that will surprise you.More
