We are by no means food snobs, and 2 out of 3 of us live in SE Asia and have visited every province in Thailand over 15 years, but we were very dissapointed with the food here. First of all, we had previously had drinks here, and liked the atmosphere of the place, and the 2 dogs in the restaurant... More

We were looking for a place where we could have lunch at leisure with a drink or two and this provided the perfect place for that. The owner is an expat and is quite friendly. The staff will make the dishes to your preference and there are tonnes of books in this restaurant that you could read there, spend an... More

A well-run British ex-pat bar, with a wide selection of dishes and drinks. Not especially cheap but not expensive, and the food was pretty tasty. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, and a table overlooking the street gives you a great chance to people-watch at all times of day while you wait for your meal. A highlight of our visit... More

Went based on a lonely planet review but were disappointed by a rather average experience. Food was pub food, not particularly fast, and prices weren't overly cheap.

We came across this bar run by an Englishman from Portsmouth. He was lovely and very helpful. Have us some good tips. Drinks were great and we lived me noodle the dog. We would definitely go back and even stay at there accommodation next time :-)

An Aladdin's cave of a cafe to while away the hours with a good book. There are 100's of books you can borrow for free and the staff there are all very warm, fun and friendly. Food was good and the place is always busy so must be one of the "in places to go". Fun in the evenings too... More

Spent a fair amount of time in this place: It sets itself apart from other cafes/bars in the vicinity by being a bit more laid back and less in-your-face. The smoothies are definitely the best I had on the island. Food was good (fish and chips a winner). Strong wi-fi. So we used it as a good place to come... More

Stopped by for a hangover fix! The egg and bacon roll came with cheese(120 baht). Couldn't fault the service or food- nice little place. Other food on the menu seemed a bit expensive- but looked quite good. Nice staff and FREE Wifi

We visited this restaurant on our first evening at Chaweng Beach and were pleased to discover that it lived up to expectation. The hundreds of books donated by satisfied diners certainly added something different to the decor of the dining area, and the meals presented by the welcoming staff lived up to the restaurant’s positive reputation. The menu provided a... More
