Formally know as the ritz, really good food always fresh and very well presented. The roast dinners are excellent but plenty of choice on menu also lots of nice desserts. Very good service and attention to detail. Not at all expensive.

Ate there 2 times in a week. Had the snapper and then the lamb. The food was very tasty and the service was great.

This little restaurant in the Jontiem Complex will always be known to locals as the Cafe Ritz, but it's name has had to be changed for legal reasons to the Cafe John. Fortunately for all concerned, it remains the same restaurant with the same value for money menus, excellent food and great service. This is one restaurant that serves only... More

I went for a meal there last night. It was excellent, as ever BUT, although its the same staff and the same menu ( very, very good ) they have changed to name. Why, I don't have a clue and it seems utterly stupid and crazy, to stop using such a well known name and change not to Cafe John... More

Hot, Aircon is that old parts missing from it which will harbour dust and dirt  Light flickering then stopped and different colour lighting as they got the bulb colour combinations wrong so you have warm white mixed with bright white lighting and it's annoying. When the waiter was told about the flickering light and we said turn it off, he... More

Went there with a friend who goes regularly and I was very pleased we did. The staff were pleasant and friendly, but not over the top. My food was very good, having the prawn cocktail, served English style with bread and butter and then I had the Roast Pork which was very good, came with Yorkshire Pudding and apple sauce... More

This is a very popular restaurant, so it’s wise to reserve a table. The name has changed from Café Ritz to Café John. The food is British and there is no Thai food on the menu. Service was efficient and the food arrived promptly. I started with a prawn cocktail, then red snapper with cream and prawn sauce, and finished... More

The well-known Café Ritz is now officially the Café John, but to regular clients it will always be the Café Ritz in the Jomtien Complex! The menu never varies with a choice of at least 20 starters, 20 main curses and 20 sweet courses. All come freshly prepared from the kitchen when ready! This is real value for money at... More
