I've been living in Hanoi for several months now and have frequented this place on several occasions. Everytime, the meals and drinks were delicious and so, so fresh. It's upstairs via a spiral staircase if you like air-con or there's a sweet little courtyard where the entrance to the Bookworm is also located. Clean, healthy eating.

I took the Vietnamese cooking here. It was AMAZING and I definitely recommend it. We spent the morning in the market buying the food, then back to the kitchen to do the work. super sweet staffs and they even taught me green tea making. The menu we made was ginger chicken, banana flower salad, prawn and omelette spring rolls, we... More

We stumbled upon this upstairs café when searching for the Bookworm store, and we are glad we did. We took the spiral stairs and looked through the menu along with the daily specials. We had the Chicken Pho, lamb fettucine and coconut/ginger bread - all made on the premise (actually downstairs) and fresh, fragrant and filling. Really appreciated the service,... More

After 3 weeks in Vietnam our yearning for a taste of coffee from back home was satisfied, the cafe makes great Australian-style ( or Italian-style to non Aussies ) capuchinos and lattes. We had a great chat with the lovely Melbourne woman who owns the cafe, and she gave us advice on buying winter woolies in Hanoi. The cafe itself... More

We just had fresh spring rolls and the white rose dumplings. They were very tasty and the service was fantastic. We were the only ones there as we were registering for the morning food tour.

The cooking classes are great. Been to many functions here. Also a great place to eat on your own or bring family and friends. As a bonus there is a bookshop inside.

We had heard about the various cooking classes in Vietnam, but didn't book one until we found ourselves at a loose end for an afternoon, and Hanoi Cooking Centre had a class available. When we got there, we found that we were the only ones in the class! Young chef Hau was wonderful, taking us around the market to show... More

This was my second time taking the Market and Street Food tour with the cooking centre, this time with my wife. We had a fantastic time. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. As there was only my wife and I on the tour, we moved at our own pace and were able to try more things then we might... More

Spent the morning at the Hanoi Cooking Centre cooking class. We were taken to the market and were introduced to the variety of produce available, including how to choose good fish sauce, great rice paper wrappers etc. The young man who taught us to cook was extremely patient and professional. The kitchen was spotlessly clean. The dishes we cooked were... More
