The waiter looks moody and quiet all the time, didn't show you the price upfront and serve you directly, it is expensive compare to the other restaurants the locals are visiting. Not recommended despite almost all hotels recommended it.

The place was crowded when i was there and table was an issue. Finally we got table and ordered the food. The food is really good and not pricey either. In general this restaurant is one of the local types and worth to pass by.

We were so disappointed being here for dinner. It has no taste like I heard before and it is too expensive for such a tiny portion that they told us it was for 3 people. Fish was greasy, staff was not concentrated. We ordered glass of ice cubes with the opener but it seemed they did not want to serve... More

Asking the hotel staff for the best well known "Cha Ca" in Hanoi and all recommended me this one. It looks very old one that attracted us from the first moment with cutie old fishing man, paralell sentences displayed in side. However, we was shock by the bad attitude of the guy who was very rude when we want to... More

I went 4 people and got only one dish which has only small 12 pieces of fish in the pot with a lot of oil. (170,000 x 4 = Total paid 680,000 VND) The test was so bad, so oily and bad smell. Do not go their. Hope Cha Ca La Vong will finish their business soon.

Prices on the wall did not match what was in the menu which then did not match with the final bill :/ Extremely misleading, very pushy staff when ordering! Only redeeming factor was the fish, portion size small however (PS: Don't order the fried dumplings, they are just fried bread)

One dish menu which in itself isn't a bad thing but.... the staff is terribly rude and unfriendly and even worse than that- you pay 170,000 per person dong for a very small dish (you get one portion that you are supposed to share!). Very little portion and awfully overpriced for what it is- DO NOT BOTHER GOING!!!!! Save yourself... More

You don't go to many restaurants with only one item on the menu but they do it very well. The fish is cooked at the table with onion and dill. You also have side dishes of noodles, sauces and extra vegetables. It one I will try and cook when I get home.

DO NOT GO HERE!! It's a true definition of a tourist trap!! First off, we there, go upstairs and there are no seats for us so they make us sit downstairs. We wait for over 15 minutes until someone THREW us a menu. We paid $16 USD (380,000VND) for dinner for two with two beers. The portion was 1 dish... More

Guess if you only serve item on the menu you better do it right. We were invited by two locals in Hanoi to join them at this restaurant. The place serves only one dish and it was great. The fish was cooked in a blend of spices and sauce that made the fish yellow (we had thought it was curry... More
