Ate there two times in one day because it was so delicious, and so cheap!! We tried maybe 10 different dishes and all of them tasted really good. Good place for cheap and good vegetarian and vegan food, especially for lunch.

Wow this place is amazing! The straff recommended us food and all dishes was super, super good, especially the clay pot veggies. It's very cheap, one dish around 30.000 dong. They made the food very quick and a lot of Vietnamese are eating lunch here. We will for sure go back to this place for lunch again!

My husband and I visited Dinh Y on our last night in HCMC. We ordered 4 dishes. Stir fried veggies, soup, fried rice and deep fried tofu. They took so long to bring the tofu out my husband asked if we could cancel it as it was becoming obvious that we were going to finish our meal before it came... More

This is a really nice, local place serving great veggie food (it's not vegan though, despite what the menu says, as they do serve egg, although there are plenty of vegan options). The food was YUMMY - great baked rice with mock fish dish thing. The staff are rushed off their feet though and the service is SLOW. About 25... More

This is a really good, very-Vietnamese, no-frills vegan restaurant with a cheap and varied menu in English and Vietnamese. Fast friendly and helpful service though they have minimal English. Easy to find by the bus station and near the backpackers' area. Full of locals.

I went here for dinner with my sister...and we thought it was nothing special. She had Pho which was okay and I had fried rice with mushrooms which was good but not amazing. The service is also interesting...we were brought menus almost as soon as we sat down but it took a long time for them to come and take... More

Absolutely great vegetarian food and at a very cheap price. Plenty of locals here too. The pho noodles were amazing. We found this on our last night in HCMC, wish we'd visited here sooner!

A great option for vegetarians! Simple, tasty vegetarian food in an authentic and unpretentious restaurant, frequented mostly by locals. And all at reasonable prices.

My wife and I have spent most of our trip reading reviews on where we can get a decent vegetarian meal that doesn't cost the same as it would in London. Dinh Y answered our prayer. The first time we went there we ordered pho (which comes with a variety of fake meats that I almost didn't believe were fake... More

Incredibly cheap and authentic meal in local surroundings. Portions are reasonably big we ordered 2 bowels of pho, tofu and vegetables with drinks for 2 people for 140,000d or £6, really the pho would have been enough though. Servers are friendly and have good English.
