When will this chain learn that the Customer should be treated like a guest? I keep trying this place and each time they shock me with their disrespect for the guest. The foods ok, often new items are not available and the team members obviously...More

This chain does cheap food and coffee, and some ok baked products, but none of it is great... The breakfast was shocking... We asked for bacon and egg, and we got two eggs and one strip of bacon. Not going again.

The location is quite central and easy to meet. You can have nice pastries or order big cakes to take away. Relatively quiet.

I try to make it to the Gival every time I am in Saigon. The first time I visited was as an AP reporter in the late 60's. It was a hangout for reporters, embassy people, CIA and international reporters, albeit modernized now. Besides the...More

Could be the best pho I've ever had. I'm glad we found this place, we were walking by the Oprah house and just stumbled upon it. Nice upstairs seating. Quiet and peaceful.

I've tried many bakeries here and no one makes cakes as delicious as Givral. They also have the best fancy cake-like pastries, as far as I'm concerned. Prices are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. My highest recommendation.

Not cheap by local standards, but very clean and targeted firmly at foreign tourists, Givral has a very French feel to it with lots of pastries. The café is located in the eastern side of the CBD (district 1), near the major hotels: Sheraton and...More

Givral Cafe is a part of the History of Vietnam. With over 60 years of existence, the location of the Coffee Shop in Dong Khoi Street will bring a lot of different visitors going from the nostalgic guests, through the journalist local and international, movie stars, singers, fashion models local and international, families, tourists from all over the World, Business people currently working in Vietnam or some crossing Vietnam etc.... This make the Coffee Shop amazing. Our guests are mainly coming because of the fact that we offer one of the best CaPhe Sua Da (our traditional Coffee Drink) of the Dong Khoi street. Beside our CaPhe Sua Da, we offer also a range of marvelous Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, Americano that we made from a combination of 9 different species of Arabica beans from the most famous regions of production of coffee of the World. In addition of this clear coffee strategy that we offer to our guests, we also deliver Pastries and Danishes where the origin of the recipes comes from the time were Givral was a French (Givral was created by a French Pastry Master). You will also find light foods coming from our traditional breakfast meals through some western bites that you will have in Givral Cafe. The location is unique, we recommend you to get your maximum comfort by sitting in one our our Sofa which will let you have an exceptional scenery of the Saigon's Opera House. Please come to enjoy our way of managing hospitality.
