We ate at Lunch Lady because of Bourdain who ate here in 2009. We enjoyed our lunch which came with the "extras" for the tourists. The total price including 2 beers came to under $10.This place was packed, and the service is quick and the...More

Hands down best soup I had during my month in Vietnam. There’s no menu, just sit down and people bring you stuff. All I wanted was the soup and the vendors took away the dishes I didn’t eat shortly after I said I didn’t want...More

I was visiting from Australia and for under $15 Aud i had a 3 course lunch a couple of drinks and got a cook book. She probably does charge more than other street venders to cash in on her fame from Anthony Bourdain and so...More

Talk about being taken for a ride. The food on some reviews was meant to be amazing. The truth was it was not, extra dishes and extra cost just for being a tourist that helps the business. Sorry Lunch Lady, but that was very disappointing.

Before you decide to play consummate world traveler and eat at this place, note that the proprietors are taking advantage of their fame by taking advantage of any foreigners gullible enough to eat here. As other reviews have mentioned, staff that pretend not to understand...More

Definitely worth a visit whenever you’re in Ho Chi Minh! Everyone was so welcoming and the food was incredible - a little more expensive than other street vendors, but worth it. They also have autographed cookbooks by the Lunch Lady available for sale.

Everyday the Lunch Lady offer a different noodles soup and this concept makes you want to come back here every day! The staff are friendly and fast working. But one tip, all the "sidedishes" they put on the table (spring rolls etc.) aren't mandatory. So...More
