Very disapointed. We ordered the tipical pancake of Hue, nothing special. Then we chose the duck or what we thought was duck??? I did not eat it. It was everything but duck. Do not try the Dalat wine, it was not good either. The most expensive of all the restaurants we tried in Vietnam and the worst.

We were with a group of 10 people who had lunch at a large table. Every person felt that the food was first rate and the price very reasonable. The opportunity to view the photos is a special addition.

Very well priced and good quality local food. Mr Cu and his family are very welcoming and the hidden gem is Mr Cu's photographs (Snapping Vietnamese life is his hobby). Ask to see his albums - they are amazing.

The Mandarin Cafe is well located approximately 1 block from the river in central Hue. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. And the collection of photographs are truly stunning. The staff could not have been more charming. Unreservedly recommended.

We ate at mrcu mandarin by accident, ordering just fried noodles porc and a plate of sauted vegetables. But what an enormous surprise: the most delicious meal we ate in Vietnam since our arrival 5 weeks ago. Só tasteful and varied! Here you eat really "HAPPY FOOD!!" A must.

Mandarin is recommended by Travelfish, so we went there for lunch and to arrange a tour. Lunch was quite good, but the tour organizer could not come up with an English-language interpreter. We had success with Stop and Go instead. The owner is a gentle, affable fellow who is a photog. His photos adorn the walls.

After reading reviews my partner and I were excited to stop by for lunch, the food was tasty and the price was reasonable, however, the atmosphere was lacking and the staff were unfriendly and seemed disinterested. Overall we enjoyed the meal, but didn't return. It seems that Mandarin may be relying on their reputation rather than putting their best foot... More

Spent a lot of our time in this cafe over the course of three days. Would highly recommend the fried vegetable spring rolls and fried banana with chocolate sauce and icecream. The owner's photography work pictured around the cafe is amazing!

The food was tasty and good value. The service was efficient and the staff were pleasant. As we left we were given photographs of Vietnam taken by the owner which was a lovely touch and they are beautiful.

Thank gtna
