This was the best meal I had in Vietnam. Exceptional food, service and ambience.I had the duo chicken which was one of the best meals I have had in a long time.

This restaurant is of relatively modern origin, built to look like an older Vietnamese home and its compound. It is pretty, but rather noisy. We were disappointed with the food; we'd had much better in Vietnam. Though nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't up to the quality and taste standards of other restaurants we visited.

Ancient and historical restaurant once owned by a loyal family related to the Citadel Palace. The restaurant is gorgeously decorated and elegantly furnished. The food is delicious too. Probably the best restaurant the whole of Vietnam.

Our guide recommended this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. We accepted waiters suggested dishes to share and all were very good.

My advice, when you visit Hue, and are looking for a restaurant with both charm and fine food, would be to seriously consider this place. You'll need a taxi. We paid about 75,000 Dong to come from the Indochine Hotel. The site, well off the river, would never be found by simply wandering. The grounds and building, originally owned by... More

This restaurant is just outside of town so you need to take a taxi to get to it. The setting is fantastic. The restaurant is comprised of a few buildings some of which were the original home of a man who worked for the king providing protection. The buildings are beautiful wood carvings, with a number of separate eating areas... More

As part of our tour, we had lunch here on our visit to Hue. The food was very good and tastefully presented. The local dishes were subtly spiced with pleasant flavours. The restaurant's decor is interesting but very dark in colour. This would be offset on bright light on a sunny day. The staff were friendly and efficient. A good... More

We enjoyed the food, the service was excellent and we got a 10-minute tour of the place that's set up to look like what ancient homes in Hue used to be - so a little history and some art too.
