Had lunch with friends on the 29/11. Undoubtedly the food was excellent especially the Foie Gras and Steak. The last time I had such a meal was way back in the 80's in Paris along the Champs Elysses. Service was excellent and the ambience was a delight to the eyes which makes the meal so much nicer. Will recommend Topaz... More

Topaz is a nice French restaurant located in the heart of Phnom Penh. The food and ambiance was quite nice, but the fact that we were being up-sold around every corner brought down the cumulative experience of the dinner. It all started when "Asia's #1 bartender" came at the beginning of the meal, before we had even received water mind... More

I came here for my birthday dinner and man was it a great decision. From the second I walked in, it was like I was a king. It was probably the best service I have ever had in any country. Yes, it is a little pricey but it's fine-dining, what do you expect? I had a NY steak strip, a... More

Came here for our wedding anniversary as we wanted to celebrate at somewhere special. The reviews looked really good on tripadvisor and they were spot on. All of the dishes were fantastic. We ordered the escargo, Steak, Salmon and Caviar and Lamb and all were so tasty. Had a nice bottle of french wine as well. It is not cheap... More

Heard of it many times, from many people and its chef is supposed to be the best in Asia. Went to try it out one day and I was blown away. This place is living to its expectations. Much class, much chic but definitely not on the affordable side if you are earning minimum wage

Wonderful surroundings with very attentive and obliging staff. High quality food. Made a special night in Phnom Penh. On the same level as many fine dining establishments in Melbourne Australia. Well worth the extra effort to find a top class establishment.

Pretty good food but the price is abit expensive even for foreigners. Price is worth for the service and environment.

Nice spot, helpful service, but uneven food. French onion soup watery. Grilled grouper was tasty, old style dripping in butter. Not sure that the standard is up to the pricey bill.

We loved this restaurant. Food and service were wonderful but expensive, especially for Cambodia. Our table looked out on a courtyard with flowers and pond.

This meal was variously described by our party as the "best French food I have ever eaten"; "great meal", and "I have eaten too much, but was it worth it!". The restaurant presents an attractive light and open dining space, framed by numerous hanging plants and feature walls outside. Service is excellent. The menu is extensive, and comprehensive with various... More

Topaz is a sophisticated French cut above the rest with six upstairs private rooms, a unique walk-in wine cellar with floor-to-ceiling and exceptional vintages and a humidor stocked with the finest imported cigars. Elegance and creativity are perfect partners alongside unequalled service with an eye to mouthwatering presentation and a menu based on Gallic know-how. Widely considered to be the blue riband first choice of visitors and residents in the capital.
