Nice little bar/restaurant tucked in an alley! Great atmosphere. Everything we tried on the menu was wonderful. The Lomo Saltdo was the best dish.

WE ARE OPEN!! IGNORE ANY TUC TUC DRIVERS THAT TELL YOU OTHERWISE!! 10am-10pm EVERY DAY!! Thanks, glad you enjoyed the food, and we appreciate the review! Lomo Saltado is a specialty from Peru.

Food was a little spicy but absolutely tops. Not exactly a family atmosphere though. If you like Mexican go.

Hi, Glad you enjoyed the food. We are a bar / restaurant, so more family orientated during the day than at night!

We are really happy you enjoyed the food. Our prices simply reflect the quality of the ingredients!! We use imported Australian beef, and other meats come from specialty butchers in Phnom Penh. To put on a menu 'so American it feels like home' also requires...More

One of the few restaurants I love to go back to. The food is delicious and original. Feels like I'm in Mexico every time I go there. The staff is reasonably nice and efficient. The atmosphere could be a little better, maybe more attractive, but...More

I need to start with the fact the last few reviews over Christmas who say about the small portions, the bad area, quality of food or the manager should just be ignored!! They clearly have no idea about what a quality place to eat is...More

Food was okay at best, alley stank of feces and it was wafting into the restaurant. The place is dank and dirty with an owner that treats his local staff like utter dirt. Would never step foot near that dark cesspool again.More

Description
We look forward to welcoming you at Tacos Kokopelli Mexican Restaurant (previously Alley Cat Cafe). Kokopelli is a humpbacked flute playing fertility deity who presides over agriculture, especially the corn and flour that are the basis for our tortillas. Come and enjoy fresh local Cambodian ingredients in authentic Mexican dishes, or enjoy Kokopelli's trickster side in Asian fusion that pairs the most delicious regional dishes with Mexican presentations. Kokopelli's musical nature is manifested in our weekly Sunday Sundowner Sessions jam and open mic hosted by Joe Wrigley, and LIVE music nights on Fridays. At Tacos Kokopelli we are committed to doing what's right for the environment, not because it's trendy or hip, but because it's the right thing to do. Our menu showcases fresh local produce, focusing on sustainable meats and including vegetarian and vegan options. We are not using plastic water bottles, and will be offering free chilled water instead. Our lighting is comprised of low energy and LED bulbs and we are reducing our energy use wherever possible. Our used oil goes to Naga biofuels for safe recycling, and all our cans and paper / cardboard is recycled too. For delivery we will use biodegradable containers in place of styrofoam, and we think that's a very good thing, and hope you do too! See you soon at Tacos Kokopelli.
