Had heard about the place from friends and went with the entire family. The portions were decent, the food was flavorful and the young chaps serving were brilliantly attentive ... the food did take a little while but it was well worth the wait...

It all depends on what you order here. That is why people have mixed reviews. If have had arabic in Middle eastern countries you should not have high expectations. Nevertheless, for Sri Lanka I think this is one of the best places to try out arabic food. The Shawarma's and Chicken Rotisserie's are very good. However, they could do better... More

First of all, I love mediterranean and arabic food and I love my Za'atar bread. I was disappointed wit their version of this famous appetiser cum bread snack and it was no where the real thing. It tasted alright but they got it all wrong as it was crispy to the bite and the cheese za'atar that I ordered hardly... More

Hazari's has now shifted to Marine Drive and is bigger and better. We had the Full chicken Rotisserie and the need Mushaltat, both items were excellent. The Arabic bread was so good you could have it plain. Currently there is a 20% discount on HSBC cards, so it makes it more cheaper. Excellent food, nice service and great ambience.

You don't take too long to figure out hazaris food is merely Arabic inspired, nothing more than that. Big menu of authentic sounding items Arab favorites from middle east north Africa. Despite the fact the place doesnt have much crowd they take a long time to serve. Service standards not quite professional. As far as food is concerned a bit... More
