Pleasant outdoor location, quiet. Good service. Basic and limited good, but of good quality. Right on the sea side, and nice to combine with a healthy walk. Old mansion not open for daily use. Winter garden too noisy when busy. Outdoor terrace on the other hand very nice to sit.

I am coming often to this restaurant and it's one of my favorite. The terrace is just really nice, tables under the trees and views over the sea. The food improved a lot and they have a new menu. Very good for brunch but also lunch. International style cuisine nut also they Turkish favorite kofte and other specialties. Desserts are... More

One of the best brunches in an outdoor area, by the Marmara Sea. The products and quality are great, with a lot of variety in a great atmosphere and surrounded by nice trees. I could give 5 stars, but the service in a weak point...it should de much better due to lack of attention.

If you make it to the Anatolian (Asian) side while visiting Istanbul, definitely have a walk on Bagdat Road (from Caddebostan to Saskinbakkal) and stop by Zanzibar for enjoying a nice drink, tasty food, and a good garden and sea view combo when walking down to the beach Boardwalk. My favorite in the neighborhood!

At least it is away from streets so you can have fresh air and enjoy your food or beverage... Foods are tasty...

Excellent outdoor location near the sea of Marmara down a side street of Cemil Topuzlu. Went here with a diverse group for dinner and the breath of the menu suited us fine - Asian noodle, pizza, chicken kebap, hamburger and my favorite the Zanzibar kebap special. Never dined inside but this is a restored historic building which should be interesting.... More

Waiters are friendly, quality food, but a bit pricy; good location on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. You may have a nice walk on the seashore after your breakfast/lunch/dinner :)

Thought we would run over to Asia and try the well-reviewed Cafe Istanbul. The location is nice and a view with both inside and outside dining. We went for lunch, but they serve breakfast until 2 pm on Sundays. We were disappointed, but stayed. They have an English menu, but we could tell things were left off. Service was decent,... More

I Loved the food and the atmosphere. The service was attentive and very good. The menu was quite full and offered. It is quite casual and relaxed but of a high standard.
