We ordered mixed grill with my collauge and satisfied w food quality. Before that we enjoyed to taste mixed soup. I think Kircicegi is one of the best for its soups. Just try..

We ordered the meat ball kebab and what appears to be their local pizza dish and a lentil soup. They were all pretty good but it was priced too high for its quality.

I have been visiting this restaurant in every two or three months with my friends, since it's close to my work place since its opening. Food is OK, especially tripe soup, crispy pita and its specialty Manisa Kebab are worth mentioning. But the same cannot be said for the prices. Every time I visited, I saw that the prices were... We ate dinner there after a drink by the ortakoy mosque and bridge. The mixed grill for main course hit the spot and the kebabs were tasty. A bit of a more formal atmosphere with some having business dinners and diners outside dressed more smartly than other places we visited. Service was ok, but have the feeling the waiters were... I tried this place after reading the positive reviews on TA. I'm no Pide expert, but the food here was fantastic! I had a diced lamb grilled pide, which was certainly enough for lunch, and it only cost 15YTL. The restaurant has a large and attractive timber terrace in front, which sadly sits adjacent to (and looks onto) a very... More

Nice restaurant in Ortakoy, great food, nice staff. There is always one who speaks English, so don't worry, but like allot of restaurants in Istanbul, They Do Not Serve Alcohol... But it is still wort it. The food is nice and fresh... and the average price is only 25 TL. per plate.

Staying in Besiktas

Neighbourhood Profile
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
