it's an amazing old style passage with restaurant/ bars at two sides, with live music, and full of happy local folks. They do some group local dances which I was longing to join.

We had our dinner at one of the restaurant there, the atmosphere was nice, the food for me wasn't that good, for my wife and our friends I think was good. This Place is all about the atmosphere.

A very old passage with fish restaurants in it. The mezes (tapas) and fish is very good. But do not forget, in Turkey fish is expensive so ask the price before ordering.

Çiçek Pasaji, Istiklal Caddesi 172, is a long narrow courtyard within a historic building. The courtyard is lined with restaurants offering good food (including seafood) for rather high prices, with unexpected mystery price mark-ups not unknown. Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal
Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night
and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights,
shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of
people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive
Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of
the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned
restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening
