We were recommended this restaurant as the ideal place to try proper Turkish meze and raki, and we were not disappointed. The food was really great and the service good. My mouth is watering when thinking about this experience!

Had dinner Meze on a extended weekend trip to Istanbul and basically it was in front of my hotel, Perra Palace. The place is nice and cozy and has good atmosphere and aren't noisy. The good is great and the starter concept is great and it gives you a chance to try lot of different plates. You can hardly go... More

This was a memorable meal. Very tasty cold and hot starters followed by the best monk fish and sea bass that I have had and I eat a lot of fish! Great place to share plates, although you don't have to! I would highly recommend. Great for couples and small groups, not young children- restaurant is not that big and... More

Visited this pace in a big company with children, so we ordered different dishes. Salads (or tapas) was nice but I didn't find anything special. My very strong recommendation - go for meet. Lamb is good. Don't take fish - disappointing. Service is nice but slow. In my opinion it's overpriced. Not very seriously. There are a lot of options... More

It is a small reataurant for about 40 ppl so you better make a reservation! Menu changes from time to time, you can pick what you want from the menu but i suggest to see the display and decide everything is really delicious

Great tasty food. Was nice to experience a modern twist on Turkish food. The cold mezes were outstanding and the hot calamari was tender and beautiful. We had the beef for main and it was also outstanding. A small restaurant so prior booking is essential.

One of the very best places in Istanbul for high quality original Turkish food. Every dish is simply delicious. They take very traditional dishes and make them better. From the cold mezes to the warm ones to the entrees --- everything is tasty and amazingly good. We had the shaslik -- the very best I have ever eaten. You can't... More

Location is wonderful, right by Soho House - the cold mezze and seafood were great, but the real star was the banana dessert, trust me - incredible and one of a kind. The owners and the staff are great too.

This restaurant was specially recommended, and so popular we couldn't get a table on a wet October Saturday evening. Food was tasty and extremely good value at the set menu price. 5 meze chosen from the buffet, and choice of warm starter and main course plus dessert and coffee. Everything was good, apart from the calamari, which was blubbery thick... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
