We visited this restaurant twice (in four days) and enjoyed the meals, wine and service. Very tasty traditional food, well cooked and nicely presented. Very polite waiters and helpers. Definitely try Pachanka pie with cheese and lamb meat. Very good wine, slightly more expensive than...More

We stayed across the street for the week and talked with the restaurant staff almost daily. They are very friendly and gave us a fireside seat. Outdoor seating is also available. They have traditional Ottoman specialties - we had a lamb dish that was very...More

We came here for late dinner after Magrib around 9 and it didn't look too busy and food menu pictures looked fab. The wait was terrible- nearly an hour. By that time wife wanted to collapse and we literally sat in silence because we were...More

There were many options from the menu that couldn't be prepared because they lacked ingredients. The food and the service were not great, it is highly overpriced. There are other places much more convenient.

Must try! Had lunch with my wife and a very good friend. Fish done very well, Kebabs are delicious. Excellent food, best appetizers we had in Istanbul. Impeccable Service and great ambiance. Very near Hagia Sofia, Cistern and the Blue Mosque.

Visited here with my partner after we stumbled upon it accidently. Lovely atmosphere even though it was quiet. The prices are decent for it being a very touristy area. The meals were a really good portion size and the staff more than helpful. We couldn't...More

The mixed grill of seafood is delicious. Fresh fish, not over seasoned and perfectly grilled. The service was excellent. It's a little bit pricey but well worth it.

Warm smile and an open wood fire set a friendly atmosphere among all guests. The food was excellent with something for everyone, including us as vegetarians. We returned after our first visit and noticed that other visitors had done the same. The location is handy...More

Kayıkci is my all time favourite restaurant. Nice interior to have lunch or dinner on your own/ with family or friends . In the cold season an open fire place keeps you warm, in the warmer months enjoy a table al fresco as this includes...More

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere

Description
It resembles a Greek tavern restaurant by the Aegean sea with its white and blue coloured decoration and frescoes on the ceiling. It is located in a cobbled stoned street in Sultanahmet ( oldtown) and offers more than 30 different traditional cold appetizers, hot appetizers and special home made mezes with very fresh seafoods.
