Spent several long Sunday afternoons here, sometimes with food but mostly cocktails and MP3 player. Very relaxing, lovely decor, terriffic staff and that amazing view. One problem - if it's foggy or raining heavily, you cannot see a thing !

This place has some great food. I love the kabob they on there menu. Drinks are also served here. View of this hotel is amazing. Definitely coming back to this restaurant next time I am in Istanbul.

I came here after recommendation from the hotel and they reserved table for me and my wife in September 2015 Istanbul was my last station of my honeymoon trip and I decided to eat meat after 20days vegetarian in Europe. When I arrived, I asked the waiter about halal food and he said yes halal, then I ordered steak well... More

We came recommended to this restaurant and it was a disappointment! We were very punctual at our reservation, but our table was not ready, so we waited a little. We ordered dinner, hoping the portions were of Istanbul's standard sizes, somewhat generous and enough for dinner. Not quite! The grilled octopus were barely a snack (two small pieces), even though... More

We were looking for a restaurant with good food, cocktails and a view over the city and we got all three! A lovely evening and a delicious dinner.

Amazing food with great views. Exciting and interesting menu. Air dried beef layered with lemon and basil, wrapped in vine leaves and served with hummus exceptional. Fantastic Turkish red wine. Was very quiet, but was Sunday night.

Great food and cocktails, lovely staff and quite simply one of the best views in the city. Bring your phone for two reasons - you'll definitely want take some photos and if you're there at night you'll need the light on it to be able to read the menu (it's pretty dark in there)

The Restaurant-Bar has perfect view and perfect service with a variety of food and drinks. However you must make reservation, otherwise it would be almost impossible to find a place

okay food - a bit pricey and service not the best but the view makes up for it - and limited toilet facilities - avoid if you can and expect queues

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
