Bebek Cafe has been serving since 1970's at the same location and is one of the main attraction point in Bebek. Sit close to the sea enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea and nice snacks. It's cosy most of the time always full during weekdays it is full of university students .A must see place..

First time I went there was in 1981 since it was close to my college (Bogazici University) . I regularly visit since then. It has become a place where celebrities hang out. Location is great, it is authentic but service and prices are not that good.

Bebek Kahve used to be a coffee house for locals in Bebek but now a public spot for visitors around Istanbul. One of the best authentic coffee houses of Istanbul

Are you inclined to do nothing but immerse yourself to Bosphorus? Welcome to Bebek Kahvesi. With its skirts touching water and decades old unique ambience this is the place to play backgammon with an old friend (10 tl rental).

Another classic of the neighborhood. The breakfasts and brunches are great. Afternoon coffee tea breaks too. When I think of Istanbul and what I miss this place in in the top 10, and after the walk by the phosphorous.

Bebek is an old, very well liked upscale village on the European side of the Bosporus favored by the wealthy who live in nearby homes with spectacular views. It's a fashionable "see and be seen" place especially on crowded weekends. So it's main street is full of places like Starbucks, Cafe Nero and the like that have on-the-water locations and... More

Bebek is a small bosphorus neighborhoud. Bebek Kahve is one of the oldest places in Bebek. A typical Turkish kahve (attention not café). Wooden chairs and tables, sea, cats, dogs and delicious breakfast. It is a must place to have breakfast in Istanbul. Enjoy...

Small coffee-tea house in Bebek on the Bosphorous. Maybe 40 years old, but has not changed its simplicity, still you can always see famous faces. You can have breakfast, or go jutsu for Turkish coffee or tea. Excellent lıcation.

Interesting place. A small, cramped cafe with really nice (finger) food & breakfast & tea & coffee and a great view (if you are lucky with your table) . This cafe is always popular, frequently visited by famous artists/actors etc who lives in or near the Bebek area. During nice days with a lot of sun, expect to wait around... More

Staying in Besiktas

Neighbourhood Profile
Besiktas
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
