I sampled four great dishes including the hummus, a hash brown covered in cheese, chicken, and salad. Also, Coffee Haus coffee is absolutely delicious.

Excellent coffee fresh roasted in Turkey. They also have it for sale as beans and ground coffee. The lunch sandwiches were good and we loved the homemade hummus. The owners were wonderful and attentive.

I was wondering around this town looking for a very specific place. This little delight caught my eye and I wondered inside to have a look. I was greeted by Doris, one of the owners, who is a real gem. She furnished me with some local information and help. I had the hummus plate which was recommended and very tasty.... More

It was great to find this place in Selcuk, which serves a different type of menu from every other eatery in the town (which we were grateful for after a week of very similar meals). The kindly owner is Swiss/Turkish, which perhaps explains the variation in menu choices (and also the lovely little Swiss chocolates served with our drinks)! We... More

Go here if interested in a real espresso but be prepared to pay a slight mark up. Random street view and a loud elementary school next door. Turkish coffee is double the price of local establishments.

Lovely location, friendly owner, speedy service. Food is tasty, fresh and reasonably priced for a good sized portion. Coffee is great, mulberry icecream amazing.

After walking the ruins, shopping and looking, where to go for peace, shade, excellent ice-cream and the best cup of cappachino outside Venice. St. John Cafe fits the bill. Close to the bus station and Cash Machine. 5 minutes from my favourite Pansiyon, The Boomerang Guest House and away from the busy carpet and gift shops of Selcuk Village centre.... More

The food is really good, but it's the frappe's and ice cream that make it stand out. The owners are very friendly and the restaurant is clean and comfortable...

Stopped by St. John Cafe for coffee and ice cream. Was really glad we did. The Turkish coffee was excellent, smooth and rich and the mulberry ice cream rivaled the exquisite gelato we just had in Italy. The cafe is run by a very nice couple who aim to make your experience a great one. Go there and enjoy. But... More
