We went to Adom spontaneously, because it was near our hotel (the Orient) and had gotten good reviews. The service was excellent and the food gets very high marks! Even the simple things we ordered, like a gin and tonic were wonderful due to the high quality of the ingredients they use (they gave me a tiny bottle of tonic by a brand I'd never heard before and it was so good!) . They also have several house cocktails and my husband tried one which he enjoyed (it had a piece of meat in it... Strange but apparently it works). The home made spread that comes with the bread basket - I think it's olive oil based but not 100% sure - has fresh spices in it and was so good we ordered a second basket which we never do (BTW there was no charge for the bread). We each ate an appetizer and then split the main (amazing) and goose liver (my husband said it was great). Then we shared the vegan shawarma which was so unusual and delicious. Most vegan meat dishes use a meat substitute like soy, but in this case they used a combination of mushrooms and Jack fruit, which I had never eaten before and was perfect! Then we shared the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which was pretty standard, melted on the inside, but also yum. They bake the cake in a little ramekin when you order it so it takes around 15 minutes but we didn't mind as the atmosphere was very relaxing. One last note about safety /covid-19: all the staff wore masks and the host took our temperature when we arrived. We were seated spread out but there weren't that many patrons so I don't know how crowded it may get. We felt very safe during our visit and would definitely eat there again, given the chance.

Hooray.. At last a restaurant with real European flair and flavour, in a great setting with wonderful staff.. . Firstly this is not Israeli cuisine, it's European.. The chef is a master of flavour. The chicken liver pate rivals the best I've made or eaten. The accompanying jam was a triumph.(I want the recipe) Chicken and mash, simple, perfectly cooked, succulent and flavoursome. All our other courses were perfectly presented. The staff were lovely, attentive and interested.. Having spent seven months in Israel and as a treveller, chef and foody I have been consistently disappointed with the limited menu in such an extraordinary diverse culture and country. Equally, I have been astonished at what is regarded as gourmet.. If you are tired of hummus and the same same, or hankering for European food. Try it. To my Israeli friends.. Not sure you will like, or appreciate this food.. For me it is sublime. An added bonus is the location, the restaurant is in a repurposed railway station with lots more to do, experience, shop (arts & crafts) and eat

Adom is more than a good restaurant. It's a shrine of culinary excellence, evident in every dish and cocktail, from starters to deserts. The hamburgers especially were great - so much that I had to abandon my original plan of having a steak instead. I ate many burgers, in different cities (Berlin, NY, Chicago, Tel Aviv, Prague), and this one can rival any of them. The meat is ground to perfection and spiced with chipotle sauce, perfectly cooked. The toppings add flavour without overshadowing the burger. Each bite is rich with flavor. This is not a burger place, it is a restaurant with many great dishes, and each one of them can compete with well-established places that focus on a single dish. I know that I tremendously enjoyed my time there and will definitely return for a visit.

We ordered Fois Gras and Pinchas Leek as starters, they where rather bland and not creative. The maincourses were good. The waiter was unattentive. He did not offer us water, once we asked for it he brought as a bottle but no glasses. I was served a dish, that I didn't order etc. The same waiter asked us if we were okay that other guests smoke, we said we prefer not. They started to hand out ashtrays anyway and guests started to smoke. We left without finishing our dessert and will not come back!

After reading such positive reviews, we were quite disappointed by our experience. We arrived quite early and were the only diners, but service was uneven at best. We were seated next to a creative wall made up of wine bottles, but they were all dusty and there was an extension cord sticking out close to my face. The food was ok, but certainly not as good as other places in the First Station, and rather expensive. Near the end of our meal we had a new waitress who was attentive and professional (a beautiful Ethiopian young woman), but before that we several times had to look for our waiter who forgot our drinks, and who forgot to being the ice we requested.

We came for a lunch to this restaurant. The food was tasty, but service was slow and unprofessional and not personal. We make an order and waited for a dishes about a hour. Even waiter came and apologise for a delay, but any compensation was proposed even small one to make us feel better. Even some free coffee ore desert. No one came to ask if we want another drink during the waiting. For this price range restaurant I was expected better service and some compensation for delay.

The food was really good - even if the prices are too high, but that is the case almost everywhere in Israel. The problem in Adom is the service. We were literally pushed out of the restaurant. The food just came much too quickly, the plates were taken away while some of us were still eating. The second bottle of the very expensive (excellent) wine was poured on top of the previous one into the same glasses. We were a party of seven, they could have accorded us more time and peace. We felt totally stressed. But once again - the food was very good. Portions are very big.

Adom is an outstanding restaurant. It is consistently excellent and a treat to experience. The chef demonstrates originality, perfection and creativity, the staff is most professional, responsive and exemplary and the management is intuitive and committed to its patrons. Every item on the menu is presented with imagination and innovation. Notwithstanding many visits, there has never been an occasion in which my wife or friends experienced an issue of concern. Adom, indeed, IS A DESTINATION.

This non-Kosher restaurant became our favorite. Try the “Over the Top” Burger for an amazing taste treat of grilled onions and spicy cheese atop a mouth watering burger served with super crisp fries. Purple salad of beets was also delicious and hubby said the grilled Dijon chicken breast was delicious (and huge). Plus a great wine selection.

Decent dishes. Service was ok. Very limited flexibility for changing the main course side dish. Surprising given the high score of the restaurant. The sea fish comes with a side dish we didn’t like. No option to get different side dish instead. The chicken breast can’t come with the cream on the side. First time ever i ended up leaving a restaurant without eating a main course.

The only good thing about the meal was that I was ill afterwards so I’ve hopefully cleansed my body of the terrible food. None of the six people in our party enjoyed their meal. The waitress was friendly and the owner/manageress kept trying to chase away the stray cat that was running around the restaurant. An expensive and really bad experience!!

Arrived at 10:15, took 20mins to get 2 glasses of wine from 3 different waiters. Ordered appetizer that also took long, was minuscule, and came cold. There were only 3 other tables with customers. Two waiters started cleaning at 10:45. When we exited at 11, all other waiters ere having dinner and wine! May be better at

Very good cooking here and service from the young staff. The dessert was particularly scrumptious. I marked it down a little on menu breadth as my partner struggle to find something she would like (although she did and enjoyed it).

The food is very expensive, and the dishes are small. We order 4 starters, and 4 main courses, 2 hamburgers that where really good (but 82 shekels for hamburger???) and 2 cordon blue, this dish was dry and just not good. It was disappointing… :(
