They are no longer in the hotel. While the hotel could use a nice outside meat restaurant, Scala was not the answer. It was overpriced for food only a real connoisseur would consider. Not family friendly. No surprise it didn't do well.
Visited this place a week before Passover, and they were already kosher for Passover. I couldn't even have a limoncello because of that, and the pricey meal was accompanied with supermarket matza bread, wet, like in grandmothers house. The place was empty and the food...More
We gave this place another chance recently, and were pleasantly surprised. Every dish was nicely presented and superbly done, and some were original too. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the service, though not terribly professional, was friendly and helpful.
We placed and order. Service was good flexible. pleasant.efficient. with all that is going arround in the country and all limitations - it was a pleasure to communicate with them. as usual with Dan Hotels - it is difficult to get bad service there.
