Need to book the place for dinner. Friendly staff, open kitchen. The place with character, tasty! Not cheap, but worth speaking. Very recommended.

I was lucky enough to get a table at this restaurant since a reservation is the most recommended thing to do. Food-- what an experience the testing menu, at 265 NIS per person, was from beginning to end a sense of bliss. The mixture of flavors and presentations was so memorable that my travels have yet to offer me what... More

Machneyuda is offering a versatile shopping experience, from small cafes, planty of restaurants offering a large scope of tastes, fresh vegetables and fruits, deli products and many more from a market can offer. You really should try the Halva at 'The Halva Kingdom' for a real local experience

Due to a colleague in Tel Aviv who called in a favor, I had the opportunity to go to this amazing restaurant on short notice. My colleagues from New York and I enjoyed an afternoon exploring the markets in Jerusalem before making our way up the curvy street to Machneyuda. From the moment we arrived, our service was tremendous. We... More

Machneyuda is named after the nearby "Machne Yehuda" market and the decor hints of a Mediterranean market, but this is not a market at all. This is a top class chef restaurant that offers a unique experience that goes beyond dining. The place is decorated to look a bit run down. No two plates are the same. The lights look... More

"Outrageous" is the best way to sum up my recent dining experience at this restaurant – it is outrageously GOOD, outrageously LOUD, outrageously HIP and outrageously ALIVE! I know, this review may smack of hyperbole, but if you can stand the decibel level – Israeli and Arabic fusion beat music and the requisite shouting conversations – and enjoy a spontaneous... More

Imagine a market with every food imaginable--fruits, meats, vegetables, etc. Imagine also a market that sells wines, household items, restaurants and clothing. Then add the hustle and bustle of the legendary Persian Market. Now you have an idea as to what Machneyuda is. For the resident it is one stop shopping. For the tourist it is an eye-popping experience, and... More

We were depressed about the US elections so the manager of this restaurant (who was a medical student during the day) went out of his way to make dinner an exciting event. He continually brought “gifts” of extra delicacies and engaged us in extensive conversation Very interesting menu. My wife had polenta with black truffles; I had black pasta with... More
