We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food is so good that I can still taste it now. On top of that the stuff will help you feel right at home and the best thing is when they come out from the kitchen and...More

Two weeks later, I'm still salivating at the thought of our meal there. We took the advice of others on TA and ordered only apps and desserts - something I would definitely recommend across most Israeli restaurants. The grilled octopus was soft and succulent, to...More

Visited this unique place full of character with business partners in a lovely evening in June. If you are looking for a lively place, full of character, personal touch, extraordinary cousine with intrique tastes and mixes of disches make a reservation at least 1 week...More

So much fun, walking around this market. Shop for everything from food to judaica! Closes early on sabbath and holiday Eves. We bought spices, dates , dried fruit! Fun restaurants! My daughter tells us once the food stalls close, bars open!

This is a market of food and drink. You can buy fresh meats and fish, wines candy, snacks, fruits and veggies and more. Go on Friday, you will be crushed by the amount of people shopping in preparation of the Jewish sabbath. Definitely a sight...More

As big-time foodies with a trained chef in the mix, our reviews are fairly detailed. We travel internationally and heard about Machaneyuda from multiple sources 4-5 years ago, but could not get in. This time in Israel we were luckier. Overall, the atmosphere is hip...More

We have tried to get to this restaurant for the past three visits to Israel and each year something has gotten into the way. This year we made it and we were so happy to have experienced our delightful evening. The fattoush was outstanding as...More

For a place that came as highly touted as this one we were really disappointed. The din was deafening, the food mediocre the service rushed and hectic and the atmosphere well there wasn't much unless chaos is your thing. Don't bother.

Call them, or show up and have a chat with them. I was put on "wait" once, but they called back and confirmed the reservation within an hour.
